Mobile Manifesting (Ex): When manifesting a power as a standard action, you can move both before and after your manifestation, provided that your total distance moved is not greater than your speed. You must move at least 5 feet both before and after you manifest in order to utilize the benefits of this ability.
Strafe (Ex): When using Mobile Manifesting to manifest a ray power, you may add extra dice of damage and manifest extra rays. At first level, your rays deal an extra 1d6 points of the appropriate damage type. At fourth level, they deal an extra 2d6. At seventh level, you manifest a second ray, and both deal an extra 3d6. At tenth level, you manifest a third ray, and all deal an extra 4d6. Rays that do not typically deal damage instead add nonlethal damage.
If you manifest more than the number of rays listed (such as by using the Split Psionic Ray feat), each still deals the extra damage. Using Split Psionic Ray in conjunction with this ability adds one ray instead of splitting all the rays.
Erratic Charge (Ex): Starting at second level, when you charge, you can make one turn of up to 90 degrees during your movement. All other restrictions on charges still apply; for instance, you cannot pass through a square that blocks or slows movement, or that contains a creature. You must have line of sight to the opponent at the start of your turn.
Power Alteration (Ex): Starting at third level, when manifesting a power, you may alter ranged powers into rays. Any ranged power that affects a single or multiple targets can be transformed into a ray. When you do this, the power loses any required Reflex save, but must hit with a ranged touch attack to succeed. Fortitude and Will saves are not altered. The power's range becomes Close (25' + 5'/level).
Evasion: At fourth level and beyond, if you make a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, you instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if you are wearing light or no armor. A helpless character does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Improved Split Psionic Ray: At fifth level and beyond, When using the Split Psionic Ray feat, it costs 1 less power point to activate the metapower feat.
Greater Split Psionic Ray: Starting at eighth level, when using the Split Psionic Ray feat, you can use an extra metapower feat. In essence, Split Psionic Ray does not expend your psionic focus when used with another metapower feat, but it still does if it is used alone.
Improved Evasion: At ninth level, a mindstrafer’s evasion ability improves. You still take no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks, but henceforth you take only half damage on a failed save. A helpless mindstrafer does not gain the benefit of improved evasion.
