Huh. Years ago I saw a "You are an Idiot" link, it may be the same one. The music seems similar, and it also featured happy faces. But it bounced around and had really, really annoying pop ups that would open each time you tried to close the window, the sort of thing you usually see only in a porn storm. So you couldn't make it stop, and that music can drive you out of your mind pretty fast. I'm sure that there is some way to stop it, but I ended up rebooting my computer.

Ok, feeling nostalgic I actually looked for the abomination, and found it! It is possible to close it just by right clicking on the button in the toolbar and selecting "close" so it isn't as awful as I remembered. Perhaps I really was an idiot. Honestly, given that Belkar's insistence on messing with his bone could have led to both of them being screwed at the hands of an angry mob of hobgoblins, he had it coming. Haley was right to smash Belkar's toy and grab him before he could have his fun with the hobgoblins, rather than let Belkar have the head he wanted and risk them coming in range with their missile weapons.

They're not meant to be entertainment, they're insults. Why just tell someone that they're an idiot when you can tell it to them with happy faces, black/white flashing, and a funny soundtrack? Why tell someone that they fail at life when you can tell them with a logo synchronized to TSO? Why tell someone they got owned when you can give them that little montauge? They're hilareous yes, but that's not they're only purpose.

BTW, that christmas lights video is pure win. That is one of the greatest things to ever grace the halls of YouTube.

To be technical, insulting someone in a flashy way, can be considered entertainment.

Heck, that's what a good chunk of comedy is, insulting things or people. And comedy is entertainment.
