Hello all--I've designed a weapon for a future game and want feedback as to power-level/appropriateness of the design. It will be given as a reward for rescuing an angel from a 400-yr imprisonment.

Torment's End
Weapon, rare(?), requires attunement by good character

This weapon belonged to a deva. In your hands its power is muted, but still potent. Like the deva it came from, it can change shape to fit the user's needs. It has the following properties while attuned:

Morphing: This item can take on the characteristics of any melee weapon that can be wielded in one hand. This change can happen at most once per day.
Angelic: no matter the form, this weapon only weighs 1/2 of the weight of the item it is shaped as.
Holy: When this weapon is used to make a melee weapon attack against a fiend (devil or demon) and hits, it deals 1d8 extra radiant damage. It also glows softly whenever a fiend is within 120 ft of the attuned user.
Magic: This weapon provides a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls when used as part of a melee weapon attack.

The unattuned shape of this weapon is a mace.

Notes: the +1 bonus is a campaign setting restriction (shared world). I've provisionally decided that the morphing property and the extra damage against fiends raise it from an uncommon (as a +1) to a rare, but could be persuaded differently. The 1/2 weight and the fiend detection come from the DMG as no-cost fluff.

Thoughts? Recommendations?
