The following uses the archetype package system from Rogue Genius Games. The rules for how to use archetype packages can be found on d20pfsrd, here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/3rd-party-classes/super-genius-games/adept-godling/archetypes/rogue-genius-games---adept-godling-archetypes/youxia). Note that Hybrid classes and Occult classes do not have archetype packages; Rogue Genius Games have claimed that they will rectify this in the future. The Spheres of Power system by Drop Dead Studios can be found here (http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/). The Path of War system by Dreamscarred Press can be found here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war).

Archetype Packages for Spheres of Power and Path of War

I like Path of War. I like Spheres of Power. I like archetype packages. It makes sense to combine them. While Path of War and Spheres of Power both have a plethora of archetypes for Paizo classes already, adding archetype package functionality will allow even more options for getting your character concept down just right.

As far as balance is concerned, I've tried to emulate the level of balance that each publisher has set out with existing content. The sphere casters are balanced around the existing Arcane and Divine archetype packages from Rogue Genius Games translates into spherecasting, and the martial initiators are balanced around the pre-existing archetypes for non-martial classes from Dreamscarred Press.

I've made one basic package for each system so far. In the future I might make additional, more focused archetype packages for these systems. Suggestions are welcome for additional packages.

Sphere Novice

Casting

A Sphere Novice may combine spheres and talents to create magical effects. A sphere novice is considered a Low-Caster. They may use either Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma as their casting ability modifier and must make this choice at 1st level. Once made, this choice cannot be changed. (Note: All casters gain 2 bonus talents and may select a casting tradition the first time they gain the casting class feature.)
Spell Pool

A sphere novice has a small reservoir of energy they can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to their level + their casting ability modifier (minimum: 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.

Magic Talents

A sphere novice agains a magic talent at 2nd level, and again at every even level thereafter.

Magical Heritage

At 1st level, a sphere novice must select one of the following magical heritages. The sphere novice gains the abilities of the selected magical heritage.

Clerical Training Heritage
You gain the powers and abilities associated with one cleric domain of your choice. This does not grant domain spells. Use your casting ability modifier in place of Wisdom when determining the power of your domains. You also gain Knowledge (Religion) as a class skill.

Healer's Touch Heritage
You gain the life sphere as a bonus sphere (or a magic talent belonging to that sphere if you already possess the base sphere). At 3rd level and every 4 levels after, you gain a bonus talent from the life sphere. You also gain Heal as a class skill and you may use your ranks in Heal instead of your caster level for talents from the life sphere.

Nature's Call Heritage
At 1st level, you gain the Nature sphere and the Speak with Animals talent, as well as the Nature Spirit drawback. This drawback does not grant an additional talent and may be bought off as normal. If you already possesses the Nature sphere, then the Speak with Animals talent is gained with no drawback. If both are possessed, any nature talent may be chosen.

You also gain Knowledge (Nature) as a class skill and you may use your ranks in Knowledge (Nature) instead of your caster level for (spirit) talents from the Nature sphere.

Magical Bloodline Heritage
You gain the bloodline powers (but not the bloodline spells feats, or arcana) of one sorcerer bloodline of your choice. If you already gain a sorcerer bloodline from another class, this instead allows levels of that class and levels in this class to stack when gaining and determining the powers and abilities of your sorcerer bloodline. Use your casting ability modifier in place of Charisma when determining the power of your bloodline, if it is higher. You also gain Knowledge (Arcana) as a class skill.

Warpath Follower Package
(http://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/classes/martial-class-templates/warpath-follower-template)
The Warpath Follower class template is usable as an archetype package by any class, using the standard rules for swapping archetype packages rather than the class features lost by inquisitors and/or warpriests.

Changes: The Warpath Follower can use either Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma as their initiation attribute, and must make this choice at 1st level. Once made, this choice cannot be changed. The Divine Focus Weapon can also be the used as a focus for a sphere-caster with the focus casting drawback.

Note that the Warpath Follower class template can be re-flavoured for any type of magic user, or for a non-magic user who simply focuses on their training with a single weapon.
