There would be a great feat of wis, cha, etc... too. Do you think it could be a good choice for ASI?

Ability score increase. It's when you get feats in 5e.

As for this particular, these are reasonably solid feats. They also have the downsides of altering ability scores temporarily mid-game, which is deliberately largely avoided due to the calculation overhead.

They're... probably too weak, actually. It's only a tiny boost over taking a normal ASI for that ability, and it'll become obsolete as soon as your ability hits 18. Perhaps add Advantage on all ability checks using said ability for the duration?
