I am hoping this might become a reference thread at some point.

What prestige classes are available that grant at least a + caster/manifester/etc level progression in two different classes? I am looking purely for spellcasting and the like and not maneuvers/feats/etc.

{table]Class Name|Levels|Caster Classes Boosted|Reference|Progression
Anima Magus|10|Arcane/Binding|Tome of Magic|+10/+10
Arcane Heirophant|10|Arcane/Druid|Races of the Wild|+10/+10
Cerebremancer|10|Arcane/Manifester|Expanded Psionics Handbook|+10/+10
Eldritch Disciple|10|Divine/Warlock|Complete Mage|+9/+10
Eldritch Theurge|10|Arcane/Warlock|Complete Mage|+10/+10
Fochlucan Lyrist|10|Bard/Druid|Complete Arcane|+10/+10
Green Whisperer||Bard/Druid|Dragon Magazine #311|+5/+5
Mystic Theurge|10|Arcane/Divine|DMG 3.5|+10/+10
Noctumancer|10|Arcane/Shadowcasting|Tome of Magic|+10/+10
Sapphire Heirarch|10|Divine/Meldshaper|Magic of Incarnum|+10/+10
Soulcaster|10|Arcane/Meldshaper|Magic of Incarnum|+10/+10
Tenebrous Apostate|5|Binder/Divine|Tome of Magic|+4/+4
True Necromancer|14|Arcane/Divine w/ Death Domain|Librus Mortis|+12/+12
Ultimate Magus|10|Prepared Arcane/Spontaneous Arcane|Complete Mage|+7/+10[/table]

Ok, now, what else can be in here?

I made a thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46913) similar to this some ways back.

I've heard mentioned a Psychic Theurge, which I presume to be in the Complete Psionic, and also presume to be a manifester/divine caster. Don't quote me on that though, maybe it will help remind someone of it who knows how it works.

Arcane Heirophant (Arcane/Druid)

Noctumancer (Arcane/Shadowcasting) - Tome of Magic
Anima Magus (Arcane/Binding) - Tome of Magic
Knight of the Sacred Seal (Divine/Binding - Tome of Magic

Also, Mystic Theurge can also be (Arcane/Shadowcasting) or (Divine/Shadowcasting).

The Binder/Divine class is Tenebrous Apostate, I believe. I'll make sure to add that to my list.

Right. Knight of the Sacred Seal is Binder/Paladin.

Ah, good.

Would you be a dear and add what books each come from to your thread? I expect that would help greatly for those wishing to build theurge builds.

Also, the destinction between druid and cleric is rather substantial as it is often difficult for a cleric to meet the requirements of a druidic prestige class. Perhaps, if you are unwilling to make that distinction, I should simply update this thread instead with such specifics?

I will wait a bit for an answer.

i seem to remember a geomancer (arcane/druid) in one of the books but I can't remember which one

I believe they changed Geomancers in the 3.5 book. Only one class progresses normally.

Tenebrous Apostate is in Tome of Magic.
Eldritch Theurge and Eldritch Disciple are in Complete Mage.
Ultimate Magus is Complete Mage
True Necromancer is Libris Mortis.
Races of the Wild is a 3.5 book, not 3.0

Sorry I can't think of any other classes off the top of my head.

Updated, made into a pretty table, and now trying to put in the maximum progression so it is a real useful reference table.

Eldritch Theurge is +10/+10

Thanks. I also added the total number of levels (to make the progression make more sense) in the prestige class and removed the Jade Phoenix Mage and Ruby Knight Vindicator as they are not double-spellcasting/manifesting prestige classes and that's what this list is for.

As many have said before: ToB != magic!

Anima Mage is +10/+10 in ten levels.
Remove Knight of the Sacred Seal: I thought it increased Paladin casting, but it doesn't.
Tenebrous Apostate is +4/+4 in 5 levels.
Noctumancer is +10/+10 over 10 levels.
Sapphire Hierarch is +10/+10 over 10 levels.
Soulcaster is +10/+10 over 10 levels.
Fochlucan Lyrist appears in CArc.

That fills in nearly all the blanks! (Except the Green Whisperer. I think I have that magazine at home.)

Anyone think of anything else it would be handy to have in the table?

...do you want Homebrew?

Green Whisperer gives +5/+5 spellcasting progression.

...do you want Homebrew?

I don't think that would be as helpful. If people are willing to homebrew they don't need official sources and such. If there is enough demand for it I'll create a new table for homebrews but we will see.

Green Whisperer gives +5/+5 spellcasting progression.

How many levels does it have? Please?

There are more bard prestige classes that are dual in dragon 311.
