TAINTED PRESTIGE CLASSES
The following prestige classes are updated from their respective 3.x iterations into the 5e system. Each are assuming you are utilizing the taint system that they are paired with.

Because of the similarities between the classes, I have elected to not to write-ups for all of them but simply refer them to one another. I will make no attempts to fix the horrifically broken taint system of HoH. That being said; If you prefer a different taint system, use the class under a different one.

PRESTIGE CLASS: CORRUPT AVENGER
TAINT SYSTEM: HEROES OF HORROR

PREREQUISITES
In order to advance as a corrupt avenger you must meet the following prerequisites (in addition to the multiclassing prerequisites for your existing class.):

Non-evil Alignment. While the taint of evil pushes one's soul away from good, and the deeds of the corrupt avenger are at times no less vile, a corrupt avenger cannot embrace evil as they do the stain upon their soul.
Strength 13. Corrupt avengers must be strong individuals, taking vengeance upon evil at the tip of a sword.
Constitution 13. Corrupt avengers must be physically resilient in the face of corruption,.
Moderate Corruption. Corrupt avengers must be moderately physically tainted.
Character Level 5th. Taint can only be wielded by those with the proper training and resilience in the world, and as such you must be a 5th-level character before you can gain levels in the corrupt avenger prestige class.

The rest of this class is mechanically identical to the Tainted Warrior, although taint suppression offers less of a benefit due to the differences in taint system and by necessity Tainted Strike draws from Corruption.i

PRESTIGE CLASS: MAHO-BUJIN
TAINT SYSTEM: ORIENTAL ADVENTURES

PREREQUISITES
In order to advance as a maho-bujin you must meet the following prerequisites (in addition to the multiclassing prerequisites for your existing class.):

Uncorrupted Constitution 13. Maho-bunin must be physically resilient under the weight of their own corruption. For the purposes of multiclassing, while taint can lower one's ability scores enough they would no longer meet any prerequisites they would become unable to qualify, for the purpose of becoming a tainted warrior and the multiclassing prerequisites of their other class(es), use the character's ability scores minus the effects of taint.
Uncorrupted Wisdom 13. Maho-bujin must be mentally resilient under the weight of their own corruption.
Shadowlands Taint 10. Maho-bujin are by definition utterly corrupted individuals.
Character Level 5th. Maho can only be wielded by those with the proper training and resilience in the world, and as such you must be a 5th-level character before you can gain levels in the maho-bujin prestige class.
Visit the Festering Pit of Fu Leng. You must venture into the Shadowlands and travel to the Festering Pit of Fu Leng in order to become a maho-bujin.

Maho-bujin receive a pool of points equal to half of your taint score. This pool of points replenishes following a short or Long Rest. Immediately after you take an Attack action on your turn, you can spend one of these points to make two additional attacks as a bonus action.

Taint Suppression
A maho-bujin is likely to accumulate a high taint score over their life, but such is not immediately apparent to onlookers. A maho-bujin's taint manifests in mental effects and in internal physical effects. If a maho-bujin were to be split open, their internal corruption is obvious: A body full of bloody pus and strange growths, and worse. If you enter a tainted area, your corruption immediately manifests externally as well. Barring these two conditions, it will be impossible to detect you as a maho-bujin based on appearance.
You no longer apply your taint score as a penalty to your Constitution, and only apply half of your taint score as a penalty to your Wisdom score.

Unbound Corruption
Starting at 7th-level, you may add half of your Taint score to all attack rolls.

The Seduction of Taint
The power of taint is seductive. Once a character has tasted its attractions, it is hard to resist. Whenever you gain a new level and wish to advance a level in some other class, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 10 + taint score). If you fail on the saving throw, you must advance your maho-bujin level. Additional levels in maho-bujin only grant additional health.

TAINT SYSTEM: ORIENTAL ADVENTURES

PREREQUISITES
In order to advance as a maho-tsukai you must meet the following prerequisites (in addition to the multiclassing prerequisites for your existing class.):

Blood Component
A tainted sorcerer must use blood in place of any spell's material components. The blood can be their own, which is drawn as part of the casting of the spell and deals 1 point of damage, or more depending upon the cost of the components of the spell.

If you decide to draw someone else's blood to use as a material component, the rules given above apply. If the source of blood is willing, or helpless, and is adjacent to you, you can make a minor knife cut to obtain a small amount of blood as part of the action of casting the spell. If they are neither willing nor helpless, then it will take as long as it takes to cut them and draw out the blood needed for the spell. No creature can be used to pay a greater blood cost than it would take to kill them.

Taint Suppression
A tainted sorcerer is likely to accumulate a high taint score over their life, but such is not immediately apparent to onlookers. A tainted sorcerer's taint manifests in mental effects and in internal physical effects. If a tainted sorcerer were to be split open, their internal corruption is obvious: A body full of bloody pus and strange growths, and worse. You no longer apply your taint score as a penalty to your Constitution, and only apply half of your taint score as a penalty to your Wisdom score.

Tainted Magic
Taint can be used as both a means of wielding magic as well as a source of it, once you have learned the way. You gain a number of spell slots as specified on the Tainted Sorcerer table, as well as a single spell known drawn from either the sorcerer or the warlock spell lists of a level you can cast.
For the purpose of multiclassing, to determine your total spell slots, add your level in tainted soccer to your levels in classes that grant you the Spellcasting class feature. For example, if you are a wizard 6/tainted sorcerer 1, you have the spell slots of a 7th level character, in addition to having the cantrips and spellbook of a 6th-level wizard.
For the purpose of casting spells, from this class or any other, you do not use a key ability score. Instead, a tainted sorcerer uses their taint score. A tainted sorcerer's taint score functions as an ability score equal to itself + 10 for the purpose of casting spells. Additionally, whenever the tainted sorcerer casts a spell, they must succeed on a Constitution save (DC 10 + spell level) or increase your taint score by 1.

The Seduction of Taint
The power of taint is seductive. Once a character has tasted its attractions, it is hard to resist. Whenever you gain a new level and wish to advance a level in some other class, you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 10 + taint score). If you fail on the saving throw, you must advance your tainted sorcerer level. Additional levels in tainted sorcerer only grant additional spell slots, an additional spell known, and additional hit points.

TAINT SYSTEM: UNEARTHED ARCANA

PREREQUISITES
In order to advance as a tainted warrior you must meet the following prerequisites (in addition to the multiclassing prerequisites for your existing class.):

Non-good Alignment. While those devoted to good may come to learn to tap into the corruption of their very souls, they can only do so once they have begun to fall to corruption, so you can must be non-good before you can gain levels in the tainted warrior class.

Taint can be used as both a means of wielding magic as well as a source of it, once you have learned the way. You gain a number of spell slots as specified on the Tainted Warrior table but this prestige class does not grant spells known. Instead, as a tainted warrior, you can expend your spell slots to let loose your taint upon your foes, as described in "Tainted Strike" section below
For the purpose of multiclassing, to determine your total spell slots, add half your levels in tainted warrior to your levels in classes that grant you the Spellcasting feature. For example, if you are a tainted warrior 2/wizard 6, you would have the spell slots of a 7th level character, in addition to having the cantrips and spellbook of a 6th level wizard.

Tainted Strike
Starting at 2nd level, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to infuse your attack with the power of your taint. You add your taint score to the damage dealt in the form of necrotic damage and increase the target's taint score by 1. If you use a spell slot above 1st level for this ability, you may add half of your taint score to the damage for each level spell slot above first, up to a maximum of 3x your taint score in damage with a spell slot of 5th level or greater.
If you strike a creature immune to the effects of taint, the tainted strike has no effect.
