So picture this: You've been on a near two month long adventure that started on a simple supernatural investigation that turned into the discovery of a cult attempting to turn a fallen Aasimar into a god. You now face him in his full divine form atop a mountain, longing for his death as the journey to get here was far more perilous than anything you've ever endured...

This is the last chapter to a very long ran campaign a friend is running and he wants some suggestions for music. Something worthy of fighting a god in his own twisted realm. Specifically something with a heavy use of the organ.

I was thinking something similar to the intro of this: Trace Kuja Theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmYSy9U78Sc)
Or this: The Organ of Davy Jones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UfT0jVzNkw)

Thank you!

From EBF3/EBF4 (silly flash games with absurdly great tracks), Organ Jaws (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv53bUo00Eo) and Divine Madness (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYk3jum1Xcg). As one of the comments notes, playing them at the same time is interesting.

This might be helpful but to be honest it feels more penultimate to me. It is also from the Final Fantasy Series (FFXIV). Phoenix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mM-nHCieSI)

Dancing Mad (https://youtu.be/pNq-8IBerXQ) from Final Fantasy VI.

If you're looking for some epic organ use, try "Pruit Igo & Prophecies". It was used in the Watchmen soundtrack to showcase Dr. Manhattan's power to awesome effect.

I kind of like Davy Jones theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fe9W1gZPUs) from the second and third Pirates movies, but the lead in and ending probably wouldn't work unless your villain is tragic in some way.

I guess he kinda is tragic. He ascended because he believed the gods forsaken him (The world was in a time of peace, and the gods grew lazy and apathetic) But I'm not quite sure of Davy Jones' theme because everyone in the group would know what it is.

I think I found the perfect one: It's a Organ-only version of One-Winged Angel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_4002164551&feature=iv&src_vid=D-_qS_3KXBA&v=wOnpKgL-NUQ)

My favourite will always be Blasphemous Errand (https://mezzaninestairs.bandcamp.com/track/blasphemous-errand).

EDIT: Though you might also like Governance de Magi (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpiKrKjPvEs) and GdM Battle (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bl1J7bih148). Could you tell that I like underrated flash games? :smalltongue:

I'm not sure it has enough organ...

It might work better as an intro due to its brevity, but Breath of Fire II had a great organ leitmotif for its evil god.
