Melf's minute meteors how to use

So I always thought minute meteors was cool spell just from the visual. So how have yall used the spell and is there anything to buff it a bit.

Easy, if you add a hex spell or a hunter's mark spell you can deal some extra damage. The red dragon sorcerer's level 6 ability works as well.

You're concentrating on the Meteors, so you can use Hex or Hunter's mark. The Dragon sorcerer ability will only apply to the first meteor.

As far as how best to use the spell? I don't think you need to do anything fancy. If you're going to be in a long fight, it is quite efficient.
