Here's a very crude solution for early-entry to Mystic Theurge, but I guess it's better than the current loopholes you have to exploit.

Theurgist Training
You have trained specifically for becoming a mystic theurge, and that path therefore comes to you more easily than it does for others.

Prerequisites
Arcane spellcaster (bard, sorcerer, or wizard) 1st, divine spellcaster (cleric, druid, paladin, ranger) 1st.

Benefit
You may ignore the prerequisites for taking levels in the mystic theurge class.

Special
If you lose or retrain this feat your character vanishes in a puff of smoke.

Immortal Archon

Loyalty is the greatest power.

Here's a prestige class that builds upon the mystic theurge, and turns you into a quasi-lich as well! Immortal Archons are the dual arcane-divine spellcasters of a magocratic monarchy, who must prove their mastery of both kinds of magic to their God-Sovereign (flavour-wise I imagine it as ancient Egypt, with the God-Sovereign being an avatar or mortal descendant of a Ra-like deity). In return for their loyalty, they are rewarded with eternal life and positions of esteem in the kingdom. They are the enforcers, the generals, the religious and scientific leaders of their society. They traditionally wear full-cover pristine white bandages as if they were living mummies, and ornate masks resembling the visages of Egyptian deities (e.g. a lacquered black Anubis mask, a golden Bastet mask, etc.).
Adventures: The God-Sovereign's influence is far-reaching; Immortal Archons may be sent on quests to distant lands and even other planes of existence at their monarch's command.
Characteristics: This class aims to provide ninth-level arcane and divine spells as well as lichdom, all LA-free but at the cost of "repeating" character levels.
Alignment: Immortal Archons must be lawful, but are otherwise evenly split between the moral alignments. The God-Sovereign is above good and evil and is served by Archons both just and tyrannous.
Religion: All Archons must worship the God-Sovereign.
Background: These spellcasters are driven to prove themselves to their deity-king/queen, whether as peacekeepers or diplomats or by creating great works. They all obey their role in the kingdom's hierarchy, patiently advancing until the day their lord rewards them with immortality. Virtually all Archons are wizard-clerics who fully progressed through the Mystic Theurge class.
Races: I envision the kingdom as being primarily human but feel free to adapt it as you wish.
Other Classes: Wizards and clerics are highly esteemed (as most Archons all start out with levels of each of those classes). All other spellcasters are respected, but other than that even good-aligned Archons tend to be curt with non-spellcasters.
Role: Archons may fill in for any of the roles covered by clerics and wizards.
Adaptation: Go wild!

Prerequisites:
To become an Immortal Archon, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Skills
Knowledge (arcana) 19 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 19 ranks.

Spells
Able to cast 7th-level divine spells and 7th-level arcane spells.

GAME RULE INFORMATION
Immortal Archon's have the following game statistics.
Abilities: Intelligence and Wisdom are traditionally though most important ability scores for the class (or whichever primary casting attributes are used for an Archon's spellcasting abilities). Constitution is less important than usual as the ultimate goal is to become an undead creature.
Alignment: Any lawful.
Hit Die: d4
Class Skills
The Immortal Archon's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Heal (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int).
Skill Points per Level: 4 + Int modifier

Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Immortal Archons gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Spells per Day When a new Immortal Archon level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in any one arcane spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class and any one divine spellcasting class he belonged to previously. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of Immortal Archon to the level of whatever other arcane spellcasting class and divine spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day and caster level accordingly. If a character had more than one arcane spellcasting class or more than one divine spellcasting class before he became a Immortal Archon, he must decide to which class he adds each level of Immortal Archon for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Afterlife Mastery
If an Immortal Archon possess the turn undead or rebuke undead class feature, their effective cleric level for that ability increases to equal their character level.

Quintessence
Whenever another level of Immortal Archon would be gained, the Archon may instead choose to replace one of their levels in a base class with a level of Immortal Archon (as an ex-paladin Blackguard can trade in paladin levels for Blackguard levels).

This means you can ultimately end up with a Mystic Theurge 10/Immortal Archon 10 with 20th-level casting in both cleric and wizard, as well as Eternal Service!

Soul Bond
If an Immortal Archon possesses the summon familiar class feature, their effective wizard level for that ability increases to equal their character level.

Eternal Service
At 10th level an Immortal Archon presents itself to the God-Sovereign and undergoes a special ritual, transforming into an undead creature similar to a lich. The Archon's type changes to undead (recalculate Hit Dice and skill points) and it gains a jewel-like phylactery (as a lich), which is immediately given to the God-Sovereign to adorn its crown or throne as the ultimate test of loyalty.
