Immunity to Magic (Ex)

A bronze golem is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance. In addition, certain spells and effects function differently against the creature, as noted below.

A magical attack that deals fire damage breaks any slow effect on the golem and heals 1 point of damage for each 2 points of damage the attack would otherwise deal. If the amount of healing would cause the golem to exceed its full normal hit points, it gains any excess as temporary hit points. For example, a bronze golem hit by a fireball gains back 9 hit points if the damage total is 18 points. An bronze golem gets no saving throw against fire effects.

A bronze golem is not affected by rust attacks, such as that of a rust monster or a rusting grasp spell.

A bronze golem’s body is sculpted from 4,000 pounds of bronze, smelted with rare tinctures and admixtures costing at least 6,000 gp. Assembling the body requires a DC 20 Craft (armorsmithing) check or a DC 20 Craft (weaponsmithing) check.
CL 11th; Craft Construct, geas/quest, limited wish, caster must be at least 11th level; Price 100,000 gp; Cost 60,000 gp + 4,200 XP.

I can never remember if there are actual rules to work off of to get numbers for construction, so I took these as a modified version of iron golems.

Sorry, IceWalker, but MitPII has been closed to new submissions & voting since August 10th. The list is being finalized, & the entries are being edited.

Nice monster though. I always liked Talos. I'd vote "Yes" for it.

Oh, missed that. Probably because I haven't been doing anything for a while.

Well then, check out my bronze golem/Talos! It's cool!
