View Full Version : Need an Evil patch

As some of you may know, I thoroughly enjoy berating people. It's a problem, particularly because I do it to people I like, and for some reason, people seem hurt by it? Iono.

Anyway, with the massive buildups of snark that result from biting my tongue (yes, what I post here is generally a restrained version, carefully worded to avoid actually saying something really mean), it's getting harder and harder to not be mean. I need an outlet that allows me to participate in my sport without submitting to mindless chatter like /b or 4chan (plus, I like my eyes). Thus, I ask at this forum, a meeting ground of the internet, a functional tavern of the endless roads of the web, where can I go to blow off my snarky steam? I like these forums, and I don't want to risk breaking the rules.

I used Gamespot for that purpose. There are plenty of unintelligent people to berate, and there are smart ones to agree with. Of course, if you don't like video games then it isn't a good place to try.

Well, I know one forum where most of us are friendly/good humoured enough to accept people insulting us (it happens a lot). Also, the rules aren't especially strict, being a place where people are supposed to just chill and have fun. However, it's quite small, and may even be a little exclusive

If you want to try it out: Arkhan's Mind (http://thementalmarine.proboards24.com/index.cgi?) is the place - but mainly it's got people who come from another forum just wanting to discuss stuff in general

Other than that, I have no idea, sorry

Gaia Online (http://www.gaiaonline.com), for sure. So many unintelligent folk there to make miserable.

Ohh, man, I second this. :smallsigh:
Go there... NOW. They love insulting each other.

Oh, I LOVE video games. I suck at them, though. That a problem?

I actually did used to go on Gaia. Again, I don't want someplace mindless, I want sport. Much like a real huntsman can't stand wasting his time on stationary targets for too long.

I would have suggested /b, but you said you didn't want to go there.

why you wouldn't want to go piss off the 4chanians, i don't know, but w/e.

Remind me again of the very most prominent examples of Rule 34 (and its origins)?

Good boy, now hopefully you understand my aversion to those places.

Rule 34 - 'If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions.' Not a site rule, a sort of universal internet law. 4chan just happens to have a lot of it.

:smalltongue:

If it weren't for that I'd suggest you go trashtalk people on some online FPS.

I think it was the /b/tards who invented, and largely seem to live by, the even viler Rule #35 ("Where no porn of it exists, porn will be made.")

Good place to troll? Anywhere Aussies hang out. Aussies en masse usually have a refreshingly ... blunt way about them. :smallamused:

Do you prefer "sensei" or "si fu"?

As any IA competitor will tell you, I can trash-talk like a pro. But I'm a casual gamer (actually, I'm a casual *insert anything I do*), so I learn to keep my mouth shut when I'm busy getting sniped, shotgunned, PK'ed, or overthrown. Trust me, it'd be a great outlet, but I have a real problem with video games, in that I AM a noob.

Just not one of the ones who whines when he gets sniped out of his vehicle. :smallamused:

Battlefront players all learn very quickly not to use turrets.

Ooo, you could PK. Eeeeeevil if you trashtalk too, but if that's what you want..

Brickwall

I repeat:

Oh, I LOVE video games. I suck at them, though. That a problem?

Besides, it's only fun to kill something if they have a mind to try and kill you (or at least know you want to kill them). Again, the thrill of the hunt.

Try the off-topic areas of class forums for 'evil' (and preferably difficult to master) classes in MMOs. We have quotas of bleepery to fulfill.

For a quick berating between the meals, join the fun of commenting on youtube. You have targets en masse, in fact I keep myself from reading the comments since some time, as I personnally are more bothered than amused by those people(and the feeling I should start to hide my country at the internet, as it really gets embarrasing, grows stronger.).
Granted, most opinions stated will be around "Eff you, you effing eff!!"(with eff spelled in 4 different versions, none of them correct), but as you will not feel challenged intellectually, it sure will train your perseverance, as they will defend the statement above with incompareable enthusiasm.

I object. Brick's mirror isn't going to pwn him back.

For spectator humor, try finding the websites where people string along email scammers for fun and personal satisfaction. They don't provide a herd of targets, but a valuable education.

Join AMEN brother

Only if you'd like to be chainsaw'd, shot, baked into a pie, turned into a zombie, be tied to a chair and be forced to watch anime, killed again, shoved into a blender, spend twenty four hours in the torture chamber filled with French guys, and be tied up again to watch Plan 9 from Outer Space.

And that's the initiation.

Once you're a member, it gets worse. :smallwink:

Most of the people commenting on youtube videos are so stupid that I would actually feel bad making fun of them. I think he's looking for more intelligent people than that.

I thought Rule #35 was that the only exception to Rule #34, is Rule #34 itself.

I thought you meant you needed an Evil patch like a nicotine patch to help ween you off evil.

If that does exist ca someone give some to me, I want to start with the small ones and work my way up.

In a way, that is the idea, but the longer version is "I need a 'being evil to people on GitP' patch in the form of something else that will provide a healthier substitute while fulfilling my evil addiction." Notice how that doesn't fit in the title too well?

I happen to dislike politics. This is why I will not ascend to take over the throne of ultimate evil. Too much work, much of it a bore.

Man, am I the only geek who, upon seeing the title for this, thought he wanted to download a patch for his evilness, thus ridding himself of most major bugs, and adding new content? bugs I would like to see addressed are dislike of the evil, and police discrimination against the evil.
As far as forums with intelligent people who you are allowed to insult, they don't really exist. most intelligent people only hang around places like here.

Well, you can insult me over PM if you want, but don't expect me to have any good comebacks.

That just qualified me as too stupid to insult, didn't it.

I can't respond without insulting someone too stupid to insult, but that might be a clever trap, so you're not too stupid to insult, so I'm going to say "yes", because I can now.

Paradoxes can be resolved with selective perception quite easily.

I was just on Facebook (because I'm horribly addicted), and I was looking at some group, when I realized that people apparently have long discussions on these groups. I was intrigued, so I checked one out. Wow. Apparently, being able to use the English language means you aren't allowed in these discussions. Also, logic is not allowed to be utilized either.

if you have nowhere else that you can find to be pissed at people.... feel free to flame me via PM unless its against the rules (im perfecly OK with it and wont report) or if it is against the rules i have an e-mail adress, if you can find nowhere else acceptable... and i can respond, and occasionally i say some REALLY stupid ****, so it would work

But see, flaming doesn't work when you say it's fine. This is contradictory to the nature of the Art.
