"D&D 3e/3.5e/d20" should be "D&D 3e/3.5e/d20/Pathfinder/3.PF", since that subforum is about 1/4 to 1/2 Pathfinder or 3.PF right now. They technically fall under the "d20" category, but it's still somewhat confusing.

Pathfinder also falls under the 3.5 label easily enough, it's obvious where it fits. This proposed change nearly doubles the length of the title (which makes it more cumbersome) and adds essentially no clarity.

Or simplify it; "D&D 3.X, d20, PF"

That's more accurate without being super long. If community input is important I vote for this one.

Everyone already knows exactly what forum to go to. What problem are you trying to solve?

Presumably this one:

Oops. I'm new here. I didn't even realize there are sub-forums for specific games. I'll repost this in the 3e/3.5e/d20 sub.

I guess any passing Admin can kill this thread. I'll be more careful in the future.

Renaming a subforum isn't a solution for not knowing that there are subforums in the first place.

Yeah, "D&D 3.X/PF/d20" seems like a better idea than my original idea. I'd vote for this if there was a vote.

New people might not know where to go.

Honestly the bigger problem I see is that where Starfinder should go is non-obvious

The fact that that subforum supposedly includes d20 is ambiguous in and of itself. For things like Mutants & Masterminds, Star Wars Saga Edition (which you may even consider a 4e derivative) or even d20 Modern I see most people sticking to the overheading Roleplaying Games subforum. Is d20 in general really needed/welcome in that sub-subforum?

This is mostly a problem because of this text:

or any fantasy game using the d20 system
it seems needlessly exclusionary or inclusive, depending on how you look at it.

The Mod Wonder: This is above my pay grade, and would be better addressed in Board Issues.
