Nightmare creatures from an age gone past, the true name of the Masked Horrors is lost to all but the race themselves, and they’re unwilling to share that information. All that is known is that nobody that sees underneath their mask ever speaks again without being traumatized.

STRATEGIES AND TACTICS
Masked horrors attack from surprise, dropping down from cielings, overhangs, tree branches, and the like. They try to ensure they start in the middle of the group, then suppress their mask to eliminate those they can. They then open up using full attacks on all around them, withdrawing

ECOLOGY
Masked Horrors leave a lasting impression – both on those they meet and the area they live in. They will eat anything that wanders into their path, and often turn to cannibalism to survive their often brief life. However, they exhibit a strange preference for the eyes of other species over all other parts of their bodies.
Masked horrors are asexual and any given two Masked Horrors can reproduce at any time simply by touching their tail hands palm to palm for a few minutes. Given this fact, they only choose to reproduce once or twice in their lives, with both equally likely to eat each other after the fact. The larvae gestate for about six months inside both of them and emerge at the end of this period.
