Seeing as the DMG has rules for spell points, it seemed a shame to neglect the rich 3.5 legacy of psionics. With that in mind, I thought I'd whip up a psion class, with four subclasses:

Feedback appreciated, and do let me know how it works if you decide to try it out!

To clarify;

manifest = cast
manifesting = casting
powers = spells

I wanna check this out more in depth later. But with just an at-work-on-break skim, it looks pretty great and has a lot of polish.

Cool, feel free to tear into it! I've had bits of this sitting around for so long I can't look at them objectively at all :smalltongue:

While I haven't had the time to read it all, I noticed that you regain all your psionic points on a SHORT rest. That surely must be a long rest, right?

WOW! What a typo. Yeah, definitely a long rest, fixed that. Psionic focus is what should recharge on a short rest, I must've mixed that up.

Update: tweaked the Chromatic subclass a bit, and did some touchups on clarity. Kinda dissapointed folks aren't digging into this and commenting, tho I understand it's a big project to take in.

Aight, so I know it's an old ish project but it's a cool one and I will probably use it in my only 5e game if my necromancer die.

I have one question though : What's the meaning of the multiple Xs lines in the document?
