Hey everyone,
I wanted to homebrew a set of vigilante talents (for the base vigilante not the Stalker archetype from Path of War) that would be balanced and give the vigilante martial manuevers (from Path of War), that would be balanced with the other talents on the list. Tell me what you think.
Initiated Disciple: To better fight for their causes, many vigilantes have taken to studying The Art of the Blade. The vigilante gains Martial Training I (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats/martial-training-i-combat/) as a bonus feat, however they must meet the prerequisites to gain the benefit from it and are limited as to what disciplines they can choose based on their vigilante specialization. If the vigilante already possessed Martial Training I, they may immediately swap it for another feat for which they qualified at the level they chose Martial Training I.
Learned Disciple: The vigilante gains Martial Training II (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats/martial-training-ii-combat/) with the discipline that they had chosen for the Initiated Disciple talent, provided they meet the prerequisites for this feat. If the vigilante already possessed Martial Training II, they may immediately swap it for another feat for which they qualified at the level they chose Martial Training II, In addition, they may ready an additional maneuver each day. A vigilante must posses the Initiated Disciple talent in order to select this talent.
Apostle of the Blade: The vigilante gains Martial Training III (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats/martial-training-iii-combat/)with the discipline that they had chosen for the Initiated Disciple talent. A vigilante must posses the Learned Disciple talent in order to select this talent. If the vigilante already possessed Martial Training III, they may immediately swap it for another feat for which they qualified at the level they chose Martial Training III. In addition they gain one use of either the Warlord's Dual Boost class feature or one use of the Stalker's Dual Strike feature. Once chosen, this cannot be changed.
Master of the Blade: The vigilante gains Martial Training IV (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats/martial-training-iv-combat/) with the discipline that they had chosen for the Initiated Disciple talent. A vigilante must posses the Apostle of the Blade talent in order to select this talent. In addition, they gain an additional maneuver from a different discipline they could have chosen for "Initiated Disciple." In addition, they may learn two maneuvers of up to 2nd level from two different disciplines and may ready an additional maneuver each day.
Martial Legend The vigilante gains Martial Training V (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats/martial-training-v-combat/) with the discipline that they had chosen for the Initiated Disciple talent. They must possess the Master of the Blade Talent to select this. In addition, upon selecting this talent, the vigilante may choose one 1st level maneuver from the discipline they chose from their Martial Training Feats to learn. Then they select any 1st level maneuver that they chose for their Martial Training feat (including the one they had just learned). They may use this maneuver at will, provided it is readied.
