Silme moves forwward, waving the other melee fighters ahead. He says, "Hold back from threatening them until the last second. Don't break Hiram's spell. Tamis, use the boulder for cover and watch our backs. Clerics with the fighters. You know what you do best. Now forth into battle!" He moves through the breach, staying close to the boulder and focusing on avoiding or blocking any attacks.

Silme moves around the boulder, using the total defense action to add +4 dodge bonus to AC.

D'pat is at total defense still cramped in the small cave. Holding...

Arnat sings, he is near Hiram and the undead ogre in the back.

Kithas holds as well, and stays defensive in the crowded cave.

With shield up Silme enters the darkness. {Now it is total darkness, and I didn't see anyone had a light source...} Silme sees no-one, and has entered into a large open chamber. The chamber slants steeply down ahead and beside him into the depths of the earth it seems. Silme is already below the rest of you, and he can hear gnomish voices ahead in the darkness... now within charging range. Pray there are no stalagmites in the way if he does charge.

George moves with Silme, stepping a little away to avoid a few area effect spells. {Maybe 10 feet?} As he enters and moves about 30 feet in, he will see little gnomish shapes waiting in what appears to be wagons. There is rough terrain here.
These wagons are metal, and have no wheels. The gnomes are using these as cover. Above George can just make out more metal and wood structures, it is hard to see though. He guess about 7 gnomes can see, maybe 8 or ten more scurrying about this large chamber in the dark above and below. {Arnat can help relay in song, the gnoll's message.}

D'pat can move up into the darkness behind the two point-men, now.

Tamis makes another desperate shot using her ears into the dark cave! By luck she grazes one of the gnomes George can see with his darkvision {30 feet away}, and wounds a gnome badly! {d:5} Tamis will only hear a yelp to know her shot landed.

Many gnomes have a round of reloading, but a few gnomes in the darkness fire their machine gun-crossbows upon George and Silme, and even D'pat. All of your armors and defense protected you against the pesky wooden attacks. The three fighters are surrounded in wood splinter clouds, as they feel the bolts pelt them and explode harmlessly. {OOC-No damage again! Lucky PCs! :smallcool: }

As Hiram finally moves past the two elves by the boulder, he will indeed find that this large chamber can easily fit the ogre, maybe 4 times over! It is large, and if all move in, out of the way, the ogre will be able to enter. The chamber opens up below deep into the earth, Hiram can tell from the echoes in the room. He will be aware that his calm emotion spell had little effect, but now the allied warriors have broken into the room! He can't see much in the darkness from the boulder.

"Ah.... Sunrod? Alchemists' fire? Anyone?"

Couldn't Merianne have given me some warning what I was in for? Virtually blind, Hiram sounds his horn again, aiming down the slope. He moves forward, trying to keep inside the cloud. He trusts the elves to get out of his ogre's way or failing that, the ogre to push past.

In the flare of the light of the sunrod, Silme moves towards the gnomes, shield forward, doing his best to stay alive for the moment. He shouts to the others, "Keep that light coming forward! If anyone has any useful spells, cast them! Tamis, keep firing! Fighters, forward!"

George relays what he can see to the others. "They are hiding in large metal wagons, but without wheels. There are more in some framework behind the wagons. Maybe as many as 20. New guy, perhaps your brute can tip them out of their boxes?"

George moves so that the rest of the party can enter the cavern, but doesn't move to attack the gnomes massed before them.

Kithas has a his sunrod out, and he moves forward to give its light to the fighters. As he does he illuminates more of this large cavern. The whole place slopes down into an underground valley, which only a tiny part can be seen. There are strange buildings and other partially built structures, including two large ships, that look similar to the flying ship you all saw before, but only partial built.

Arnat sings long and loud from the cave...

Silme moves forward, he can get to the gnomes and even manuever around the tipped over wagon-things to get at them

George can see a few more gnomes, as his ears prove him right, in the shadows of the sunrod's light. He too can move to a few gnomes. The area is large, and there are gnomes trying to take cover all over... including in the darkness above.

D'pat can defensively move into position as well.

Tamis has a clearer shot and can actually see the gnome she injured now. She takes another shot and hits him right in the chest. {d:7} He drops and falls onto a stack of metal slats, tumbling them over loudly in a crash of metal. {OOC- Well, one gnome down, many more to go.} This one had been reloading his MG-crossbow.

All the gnomes fire at the three exposed warriors. This time in the explsoion of wooden bolts, some at point blank range, they ALL take damage. Even with defensive stances up. These guys just unloaded their bolt clips! {George d:8; D'pat d:11; and Silme d:11}

Hiram realizes he needs to even the odds fast, but the summoning spell is a long one. He grits his teeth and spits out the last few syllables as he calls something, distasteful even to him. He spares a glance back for his delinquent minion.

The spell completes just before Hiram's initiative next turn. SMIII for [roll0] augmented fiendish hawks.

Kithas holds in the cave while others ahead take action and clear out space.

Arnat pelts a partially visible gnome down in the depressed chamber and pains the little guy. The elf showing a little arcane talent picked up in his travels!

The armor is not tough, but the studded leather on the gnome protected it from Silme's glancing blow. Silme has moved around debris and is amid three of the gnomes that was firing upon him.

George charges to a few other gnomes, and cuts through one{d:21}, and misses another nearby. The struck gnome is partially cut in half , and the left arm was severed. George's laugh echoes in the chamber giving all the gnomes a good scare. {Morale checks will be made!}

D'pat moves to two other gnomes and fails to strike one.

Tamis fires an arrow and fails to damage her target!

The gnomes try to retaliate. The two gnomes near George retreat 20 feet, reloading their guns with the large bulky cartridges. Other spray from high platforms rain their bolt sprays down upon George causing him great pain! {d:8}
The two gnomes near Silme drop their strange crossbows and draw swords... long swords for them, but short swords to most of you. One manages to give Silme a nasty gash on his leg.

The gnomes near D'pat attack with their swords. Both gnomes strike him, one nearly critical! {d: 5 and 6} One on either arm!

Hiram completes his complex spell and summons forth two dark hawks that swoop into the room and fly toward higher placed gnomes on platforms to wreak havoc. They cause some damage, but fail to kill the two gnomes that were attacked.

When Kithas, Tamis, and Arnat move out of its way the armored undead ogre can enter the chamber. {OOC- Basically the ogre can move into the room on his action next round. He's so big he is moving slow in the cave, and people are still in the way.}

Arnat moves in, to a safe, covered position and begins playing his inspiring music. {Bard +1}

Silme is invigorated and cuts down one gnome, and knocks the next gnome into machinery with a shove of his shield.

George can see Silme has given himself some room, but there is a gnome nearby that is reloading his R-R crossbow as quickly as he can. The gnoll unloads the gnome of his head. The bloody tinker's head bounces up into the bottom of one of the partially built flying ships hanging below.

D'pat batters down one of the gnomes near him. The tinker gnomes are beginning to show real fear!

Tamis misfires as she moves into the chamber and behind some cover. She will hear something coming from the darkness below in the sloping chamber that goes deep into the darkness. A wooshing noise as if something is flying towards you.

The ignored gnomes fire as they can, and one litters George's backside with bolts! {d:12}

The gnomes above are having some trouble with the evil hawks, but a few are able to fire down upon you. D'pat and Arnat are the two who recieve the brunt of the attack. Even in cover the bard is pelted with bolts. {d:12} D'pat feels a few of the wooden bolts puncture and dent his armor. {d:11}

The gnomes are about to faulter, but it sounds as if reinforcements are coming.

The ogre can finally break into the room, and will absolutely flatten the last gnome battling D'pat. All of you are out of melee, but there are some gnomes above, and even some further down in the chamber.

The whooshing sound becomes evident as the elven sorcerer returns and shows he came in another way. He rides upon the unicorn which is magically flying through the air.

The cover makes the elf's lightning bolt shot difficult, but he aims all of it at the paladin! It is a mighty one, and electrocutes D'pat on the spot! {d:25 failed save} He is slain instantly. The elf drifts off the unicorn, and stays 40 feet into the air.

Hiram is using a light shield because it takes two hands to load a sling. I'm not sure whether he loses his shield AC bonus for the whole round, or only while he's juggling.

After further consideration, since the hawk has to maintain an airspeed, I don't believe it can ready an action. It will just attack. This fight would have gone better if Hiram had gotten more than 2 hawks.

OOC- So, I am guessing Kithas will undead the unicorn? He'll be moved to the top of the round.

Kithas will touch kill, and reanimate the unicorn. {OOC- Right? Please elaborate what you actually do. :smallsmile: }

Hiram holds his action...

Arnat gets under more cover and plays music loud.

Silme swings up and barely strikes the elf, but cuts a long slash in his leg that bleeds badly.

George's clumsy leap, barely gets his big frame out and over the elf, who notices the gnoll coming down. The grapple was going to be difficult, but the elf flails! {OOC- I was giving George a difficulty factor, but girly looking elf:smallwink: , fumbled his opposing grapple!} George grabs the elf and manages to use the elf to cushion his fall. {d:2 to George... elf took more} George and the elf land right next to Silme... he was JUST missed in the fall. :smallyuk:

Tamis fires more cover shots, and drops the gnome above George. This gnome plummets off the scaffolding, and lands crashing near the elf and gnoll.

At this the remaining gnomes flee. There isn't many, but they can be heard scampering down into the lower slope of this dark chamber.

The elven sorcerer only looks in horror as the unicorn rises. He does his best to struggle against George, but is unable to break the grasp of the dog-faced man. The elf remains grappled!

Hiram can see he can do something else... {Moved to the top of next round.}

The undead unicorn will rise near the dead armored ogre. {OOC- If I am understanding it all right.}

The hawk can continue to attack the elf... {OOC- I will move its initiative to the top too.}

Hiram {OOC- I am assuming the roll was for the sling...} manages to knock down the last of the visible tinker gnomes yelping into the darkness, with his long white beard trailing behind him. This one tumbles and crashes to the ground dying and entangeld in his long beard.

The hawk also gives chase ripping something off... Hiram believes he sees a large proboscis go flying as another gnome shrieks horribly. {OOC- Are we coming up on it disappearing?}

Kithas: {OOC- I was assuming he did the raising last round. He can have two actions when you post for round 10. Though this battle is over. The rest might be chasing down the gnomes, in which I might speed up time.}
He now has the unicorn under his complete control. The blue eyes of the unicorn not visible are rolled up in its head. It is now under Kithas' command. The elf sorcerer continues to shriek, more concerned for the unicorn than his own life.

Arnat safely plays his music.

Silme keeps his guard up, and sees Gorganiean is in complete control.

Gorganiean will then suffocate the elf and knock him out. {Elf sorcerer is out cold.}

Weary from her covered spot, Tamis finally misfires into the darkness. She can hear that arrow snap.

{OOC- To account for high level play I have incorporated gems into the imperial market, so that wealthy can carry around less weight in their pouches. So, you don't need to worry about selling them for half.}

When all coinage is gathered, and Tamis has appraised it, she will find several glittering golden citrines. {20 @ 50 gp each}
As well as approximatley 500 gold coins, printed by an ancient pagan underground gnome kingdom, but all complete gold coins were of worth in the empire... though usually quickly converted by any of the imperial mints.

"Nevermind. There's no time. Tamis and Arnat, see if there are tunnels leading deeper. There ought to be schematics for these things, expensive tools, and who knows, maybe the payroll. The more we break and take, the harder it will be for them to resume operations. Kithas and George, secure the upper tunnels, in case that noise was other airship dropping off marines. Silme, lets put D'pat and the elf in the fire. The former because he earned it, the latter because I really don't want to see him raised."

The wand of the sorcerer looks pretty common, and radiates conjuration magic.

Tamis finds a few diagrams and even a few trapped chests, all about in the large chamber. The far-side continues to drop deep down, and opens up even larger. There are also side caves off the large cavern, and this is what the gnomes seemed to run toward.

As the group looks about a familiar, but startling voice sounds and Avery walks into the room, dispelling her invisibleness. She will want to see the papers Tamis found, and will be sorely disappointed. "They must've taken their plans in those rocketing silver towers that disappeared into the sky. Merianna sent me in after you guys when she saw that. Well, the Guild doesn't have time to examine these in the boonies, so we're gonna blow these up." Avery will look about this region with Tamis and determine nothing of worth for these flying ships can be found. Though Avery will be pleased with whatever papers are found.

There are 3 chests, only one is heavy and might be laden with coin. The other are lighter, and may have other items? :smallamused:

With the unicorn loaded, and party prepped the rest of you can continue on down the dark slope. It gets huge as you go in farther, and can see stone dwellings built along side workshops, and even other scaffolding.

Avery the Guild Assassin, will accompany you here. She stays in the back, and tries to stay in the shadows of your party's light.

This place is a literal factory with metal-working and blacksmithy. There is even a chemist and potion stand. Avery will want it all searched for magic, she doesn't really want to do anything, and barely wants to be in here. She is amazed by it all, and can barely give the go-ahead to destroy it. "That lousy Merianna will not be happy if we let any of it survive. Already their escape pods got away. She says they are going to a world in another galaxy, whatever that is. Far, far away. I say, good riddance, I hate gnomes. My master tells me of a day when the gnomish secret service ruled the underground and underworld. Yeech! They were in everyone's business."

You will see this chamber is huge and goes deep, but there is a bottom! This whole region is probably a mile deep, and there is enough fuel in here for Hiram to set the whole place aflame. The set-up will take the rest of the day, and maybe into the night even with help.

Tamis, Arnat, and Avery can search for more stuff, as Hirma and others prepare to light the place on fire. The stealthy ones will uncover a store of gems and even more coins in their search, as well as important papers and diagrams. Avery will want to keep one scroll.

It is the plans for the flying ships. Avery will tell you this is what the wizards want, and the reward you will pick it up in Old Galorine.
{OOC- This will be the long trek back that Silme took with his deceased partners. With Dyeinon dead, you will be relying on Avery's directions and Silme's memories, it was the dwarven-barbarian Noris that had guided him to the North of Kandor.}

From the bottom and continuing on the massive chamber will slope up, and eventually you will see a massive tunnel, on the far side of these hills. It is open to the air, and once you leave this area, you will see it is covered with an illusion of rock and bush.

There are a few lower caves also that can be explored off the main open underground. Tamis will see that many of these smaller caves are indeed trapped, but she can take care of them.

Back deeper in here is a few carved rooms into the rock, and one great chamber that has strange towering orange scaffolding, about a hundred feet into darkness.

There are 4 of these great towers, and climbing up and looking into the darkness above you, will reveal above each a shaft carved into the ceiling, large enough to drive a wagon thru, straight up above the orange towers. You can see sky through the shafts, way up above. It would be a difficult climb.

After a full day, with no encounters you will feel as if you have searched this place throughly.

Once the burning of the factory begins, you will all have to flee the underground, for it will become unlivable as smoke fills the huge cavern and pours columns of smoke high into the night sky. The dark smoke clouds blend into the dark night and cover the stars. The burning will take time, and will likely burn all night. {OOC- Depending on who says yes this would be her order of flirtation, with the gnoll being the last, should everyone turn her sexy slinky advances down.
Yes, Avery is a wild one!}
Arnat, Hiram, Silme, Tamis, Kithas, and Gorganiean

Even if Avery is alone, she will be naked in the ground, in a pile with her blanket.
{IF you want: her items can entirely be searched, should say Hiram distract her all night.}
She will be fully visible in all her blondness with no stitch of clothing or hood, when she hops up in defense staring at the forest around her with her bleary eyes. She is sick, hung-over, and all of you think you've discovered this lady's weakness for alcohol. She looks confused, and will not remember a thing of last night.
{OOC- Post if you do ransack her items, even alone, Avery will 'take care of business' to satisfy her needs.}

She will mutter something about your surroundings at about the same time that Arnat and Tamis are becoming aware of the same thing. The two elves are unsure of what is coming, but it is a lot, and they are stalking up to you. Perhaps an army, for the forest has gone quiet, and that was actually what made all three of these fine listeners jump to attention.

{OOC- It is morning, some of you are up and spelled already. It is likely that Avery is the last one asleep this late in the morning, she would be waiting for the group to leave.
Kithas will be having trouble copying the plans. It is quite intricate, and will take a little more time than he thought.
Amanuensis will not work since you are not copying text, but intricate plans and designs. This may not be surprising for Kithas to have thought this to work, for this aspect of science was not really taught in the churches. There is engineering of a great degree that almost makes it all look magical, though Kithas is wise/intelligent enough to read and interpret the gnomes' plans should he learn the tinker tongue.}

With everyone snoozing, on watch, or still drinking the bard and assassin will be up into the early morning, and the elf will only need an hour of meditation to recover, so he up when the sun rises, and as well as when the approach of many interrupts your late morning.

Late Morning:
Arnat had never been with a more sexually skilled human woman, and the bard probably guessed that Avery has also plied her skills as a whore. Many nobles ladies sold themselves as high-class escorts. The King of Kandor was said to be the biggest spender in this trade. Avery was impressed with the elf and his use of his smaller frame.

Avery will likely be the only one asleep when the forest becomes alive in the late morning. Tamis can hear that there are a quite a few humans with whatever else is out in the woods.

Avery yells as she looks about and gathers her things as she can, "Secret Alliance members! There must be a nearby base!"

Hiram is irritable after sleeping in his armor. He's frustrated that an army has managed to sneak up on them, and that the group's response is disorganized. He's annoyed that Avery chose Arnat over him. He pauses to help her with her gear. "You sure it wasn't flung away in last night's haste?" he asks archly, but his own fingers go self consciously to his periapt. "Look, fight as best you can. I'll save a Sanctuary for you, if it comes to that."

"Silme, present arms." If Silme complies, Hiram will imbue his sword with Magic Weapon. He takes a Bulls Strength for himself.

Tamis' shots this round deflect off a big bearded man's armor, as she charges forward up in the tree branches.

Silme crashes into the ememy lines and hacks his way through the first armored man he comes to. He drops his first opponent of this battle!

Arnat will seek cover as he can, and plays his inspirational bardic music. He will see elves and hobbits looking at him in his covered position. {No warrior will charge his position in the middle of the group.}

Kithas holds using the big undead unicorn as cover. The unicorn also waits for any rear attackers, as these two guard the back of your 'circle'.

Gorganiean will see no line of attackers as the men are spread out, but he and Silme can form a strong front, and he will hack and destroy the first armored man he comes to. Gorganiean stands about 10 feet from Silme now.

Hiram pokes another fighter, as the trio forms a strong front to the many Alliance members coming at them! {3rd enemy to fall this round!}

Hiram is only grazed by an arrow as he steps forward. He can see the young man that fired the lucky shot nearby. {d:1}

Arnat is struck by two arrows in his covered position. Apparently two tough looking halflings were getting bothered by his music. {d:6 and 4}

Other ranged attacks on the group miss. Including a mighty spear toss at Tamis.

A rush of men charge forward, though not in a mad rush. Silme feels a sword poke his side as a man charges up on him. {d:5}
Gorganiean is also struck as a man with a long sword, who stabs the gnoll deeply. {d:9}

Tamis moves into the tree tops with ease, and disappears as best she can. None of her allies can see her. She thinks most of her opponents can't see her.

Silme does what he can to move on the nearest man in armor with a wooden tower shield and keep the allied front with Gorganiean and Hiram. He cuts one man down who drops immediately!

Arnat sees he is in trouble, and spotted in his covered spot. He moves to a better spot, but still not in the direction of whatever is approaching in the rear. He will heal himself with a bardically inspired CLW. {+6}

The two hobbits closing in on Arnat can be heard speaking in the human common-tongue. "Oh, no he didn'!"

"Oh, yes he did brother!"

"I'm mad now! Well, I get whatever Horn the priest is speaking of."

Kithas moves with the unicorn toward movement in the back. Emerging along after a few priests {of Ra, Osiris, and Isis} in full white and gold regalia, are two familiar dwarves. These two dwarves are behind the armored priests and were two of the three dwarves that were on the flying ship before.

The unicorn charges and spears one of the big human priests with his horn and kills him out right, shattering the golden holy symbol of Ra in the puncture!

Kithas uses the unicorn as a flank on one side and plows into the ranks of priests knocking down one mean looking priest of Osiris with his morningstar. {d:9} The Osirian priest crumples to the ground.

Gorganiean has to move more away from Silme to get to the next man in armor. The gnoll shatters this man and sends him to an early grave!

Hiram can see Arnat is busy behind him with the on-coming hobbit scout-brothers. He moves into the midst of human fighters and cuts another down! {d:10}

Avery finally gets in gear and runs naked, with both her blades coated with poison, into the woods and shadows. Disappearing and doing what she does so well. Hiding.

Hiram, Gorganiean, and Silme are standing strong, but are spread out. The Alliance fighters are trying to stay dispersed, but that changes as those close enough charge. 2 to each PC warrior! Hiram and Silme's armor is sufficient to keep them safe this round, but Gorganiean is clipped on the arm by one of his opponents swords. {d:3} The man seems very disappointed with his attack damage.

A volley of arrows comes in less than before, but some are effective for some pain. {Arnat:6 ; Kithas:1}

The two hobbit scouts move on Arnat.
"I'll teach you to heal my damage."

"I think that was my damage, brother."

Both hobbits charge toward Arnat and fire skirmish shots! Both hit Arnat in the chest. Arnat's last voices are the joyful squeals of the two halfling scouts. {d:6 and 11} Arnat collapses,dying with two arrows protruding from his chest.
His song will still be in effect for a few rounds more!

The 3 priests in back and 2 dwarves seem all prepped. Kithas won't be too concerned with the 3 human priests, who flail in attacking even buffed on the undead unicorn and Kithas. The dwarven priest moves to attack and his face goes white upon seeing the unicorn, "Zalgaith! Noooo!" The dwarven priest will carge ahead of the bigger and more burly dwarf. Kithas is hit with a crushing blow! {d:14}

The big dwarf moves on the unicorn and says to his priest in dwarf, "I'll put him down!" The dwarf's heart isn't in it and he misses horribly. {non-critical fumble} The big dwarf's heart isn't in the fight with the unicorn.

More commotion can be heard coming from the surrounding woods.

OOC- Okay, so the first part of this battle is practically stand and fight. I'll move it along... relatively safely for your PCs....

Tamis can see that she is hidden from the big bearded man. He stands with two young men in robes, and appear to be wizards with their pouches and hats and such. She will be able to sneak attack any 3 of them next round. Tamis believes she has even hidden herself from the elves coming in the woods.

Silme slashes one of the two men attacking him, and knocks the man down. He then runs for cover towards the middle of the group. He will find that you are all surrounded by opponents. The other man gets an attack off on the fleeing Silme, but deflects off Silme's armor.

Kithas touches the dwarven priest of Heimdall, and he screams out, as he is blinded! "I'll kill ya blind, Evil one! You are as much scum as the cur, old King Blackbeard!"

The unicorn rears up and begins to attack the big, burly dwarf with no remorse. The big dwarf is poked and battered, but withstands the powerful opponent's horn attack! He waves to the other three remaining human priests, "Get back! You tend to the others! Vochal and I will deal with these two!" He points at the devastation caused by the front-line fighters farther down the hill.

The standing priest of Ra nods, "Yes, Ramstead."

With ONE mighty swing of his greataxe, Gorganiean, CLEAVES both men engaging him in half! They are killed instantly, and he has cleared himself of melee-opponents in a spray of blood.

Hiram has two men engaging him now, and he defensively dispatches one with ease. And the other begins crapping his pants, as the priest of power steps away.

Avery is hidden somewhere in the woods, doing what noble-assassins do well.

No-one engages Gorganiean, but he does draw a few extra arrow-shots from the young fellows and elves attempting to stay out of melee. One of the arrows plunks him hard in the side! {d:6}

Hiram's warrior-opponent will flee.

The big dwarf hurts the unicorn a little, and the dwarven priest manages to clip Kithas with a lucky blind swing. {d:6} The 3 remaining priests in white robes with gold will go to help the others. The priestess of Isis will heal the dropped priest of Osiris, and bring him up with a minor cure spell {CLW}.

The two hobbits and elves by Arnat set up a close perch on your flanks, and rain arrows down unsuccessfully on the armored front-liners. Silme is pelted with several arrows but all fail to hurt him. He exposed himself a little on his run for cover, and they saw him, but didn't hurt him in the cover.

The big beard man with the 2 young wizards will be speaking to something invisible, that seems to be right in front of their face. Tamis doesn't speak fey-common, but it sounds a little like elf. She still can't understand what is said, or hear the soft invisible pixie voice with any distinction.

The man with the big beard, is struck close to the heart and pained, and yells out in anger. {OOC- I thought she recovered some arrows.:smallcool: }

Silme will actually see that the bold halfling brothers are close enough for him to move on them, they stand near the dead Arnat. Unfortunately, the little halfling is too quick and ducks under Silme's blade. {By the way this is the one eager for Hiram's Horn.}

Kithas makes himself feel a lot better, even with the pressure of the blind cleric trying to kill him. {+17}

The unicorn moves away from the big buff dwarf, and stabs the recovered priest of Osiris through the heart, killing him good now. The priestess of Isis angrily screams out as she sees this happen with the Osirian priest still in her arms. "Noooooo"

Gorganiean is raged and sees only fearful humans. He moves over the dead cleaved humans and hacks down on the young teen with a bow shivering nearby. Gorganiean chops both legs off, and the teen is dead!

Hiram can at least move toward the nearest opponent, as Silme has, which is also the hobbit that wants Hiram's horn. This little scout is quick, and he dodges Hiram's attack. He looks at the priest as he rolls away drawing his sword. "You're what? A priest of Power? That's what the elves say! What kind of god is that? You don't even need to pay me to kill you. You're kind is bane to civilization!" His sword deflects off Hiram's armor, much to his annoyance. He calls to his brother nearby. "Cover me! You still can't hit me brother!" This halfling laughs a little crazily, as his brother looks to take aim on the priest, even with dangerous Silme right there.

The brother scout's skirmish moving shot ricochets off Hiram in a shot right over his brother's shoulder.

Tamis has just killed two young wizards and the man with the beard screams angrily. He moves on Tamis pulling a spear from his back and hurls it hard up toward the elf in the tree. He throws it powerfully, showing off his muscles! It slashes open Tamis' arm, and rips a chunk of her shoulder open! {d:8}

A tiny dark arrow also comes out of the air by where the man spoke, and pokes Tamis in the leg. It doesn't hurt, but the arrow seems to fade into Tamis' body. It seems to fog Tamis' mind, but she can shake off this memory fog effect! {Save success! 20!}

As Silme looks at the squirmy little halfling, a few elves take shots with their long bows. Two are expert shots, and he feels pain in his back! {d:2 and 7}

The few remaining humans in the front flee from Gorganiean. The gnoll will see the closest opponent to him now is the man with the big beard trying to knock Tamis out of her tree.

The big dwarf tries to take out the unicorn as it slays another of his priestly allies. He manages to cause it some more damage. The priestess also causes the undead unicorn pain with a positive energy touch.

The two other priests rush to fallen men in the melee zone. They have not yet healed these fallen, and Gorganiean will also take notice of these two 'fresh meat' armored men, that have entered into his range of attack.

The blinded priest swings a mighty CRITICAL strike, but finds his mighty blow is a complete miss! He screams out, "FALL IN!"

Whatever big thing was up higher in the hills is now moving down towards Kithas and the unicorn.

Avery will jump out and execute the big bearded man coming at Tamis. Avery smirks, and gives the elf a tip of her sword-salute. Then the naked assassin will then move back into the woods.

Tamis climbs up higher in the tree and tries... unsuccessfully to spot or hear the invisible shooter. She can see no other opponents near her here.

The halfling ducks under Silme's sword attack, but takes the fighter's shield right in the face, bloodying his nose. "I'll feed you to my dogs for that one!" The angry little halfling mutters.

Kithas move away from the blind dwarven priest and heals the undead unicorn with his negative release of energy. This doesn't make the burly dwarf happy, and he snarls in anger. When the order is given for the unicorn to kill the priestess, he can only shout, "Nooooooo!" As the undead unicorn skewers the girl through the chest and bloodies its horn even more. The top of the unicorn's head streams with blood from his victims this battle, and drips off its now red-dyed beard

Gorganiean will see the two priests, the closest is the other priest of Osiris, who was not felled yet. The other priest is farther away. Gorganiean plants his axe in the man's back, and nearly slices him in half with a mighty blow. This guys is dead outright! The last young priest {of Ra} looks in fear at the crazed, raging gnoll.
{OOC- Thanks for the correction... no prob, got busy myself with my own wife. :smallcool: }

Hiram moves around Silme to flank the bold halfling, who takes damage from Hiram's sword's slash, but doesn't drop the halfling. Hiram does leave a nasty slice on the halflings back, to go with the bloody face Silme gave him. This halfling is tough, but even he realizes he is in trouble, and stops his chatter.

Avery remains hidden.

The angry halfling goes for Hiram, but can only hit armor.

Many arrows fly in, from various positions. Mostly at those in the center of the group, and at raging Gorganiean. No-one is hurt from arrows this round.

The blinded dwarf will take the brief moment he has to dispel the magic on his eyes, and is successful, showing that he is nothing to be trifled with. "Now!" he glares at Kithas, "Now I can see you much better! You will die!"

The burly dwarf is also a tough fighter, and shows why the tinker gnomes on the flying ship also gave him a position of importance. He batters Kithas hard, twice! {d:11 and 8}

The last of the young priests heals a man Silme had dropped, and brings him up, and will say urgently to the recovered man, "Come, Lasko! Come! We must flee!" Gorganiean can still get to these guys next round... uh-oh! {OOC- Watch out Cleave!}

Tamis will see that the little invisible archer has moved and fires a green arrow at Gorganiean. But, it deflects off the gnoll's armor. Tamis is far from the archer, and will have difficulty in hitting this guy.

Something large seems to be crashing from up the hill. Kithas and the undead unicorn will see some figure tromping through the woods above them.

Also didn't mention all archer movement. The halfling brother retreated back away and towards the elves in the woods. {He took no skirmish shot, many of the opponents are retreating or staying put.}

Round 7:
Tamis will have to move back toward whatever is in the higher hills. She can't see what it is yet, but is closer to the center of the encampment now. No-one sees her, not even the enemy elves, that have been raining arrows on the group.

Silme cuts the bold halfling's throat, spraying blood out onto the warrior. The little hobbit falls and his sword crashes next to him. The halfling's brother screams out, "I will kill you!" However, two other hobbits he retreated near, will be trying to pull him back.

"Izilte! Come on, get back!"

The feeling of Arnat's music fades, and all you see is his dead corpse, and the memory of his amazing bass.

Kithas heals himself. {+14}
Kithas and the undead unicorn work well together, and as it stoops to swoop the dwarf to its back, and it points its horn toward the warmth in the good cleric's heart! The horn of Heimdall is clearly visible about the dwarf's neck, the unicorn tries to aim for it. The dwarf is struck , but takes the piercing strike like a warrior, and is prepared to battle the evil enemies. "Abominations!!!"

Gorganiean runs to the last of the young Egypto-priests of good, as he helps the fallen warrior. He can't charge in the brush, but doesn't need to. He reaches both men, and they look up in horror as the metal flashes in the sunlight and then through both of them. Gorganiean's axe cleaves them both!

{OOC- I will allow Hiram to maneuver toward the other halfling to call the hobbit to himself, so Hiram could get the AoO.}
The greedy hobbit falls to Hiram's feet, so he turns and casts his spell on the brother. The halfling screams and shakes off the spell, and might've charged anyway, had it not been for the other two hobbits about 45 feet away that are pulling him back and away.

Avery will sneakily slip under a tree below near Tamis. She whispers in thieves cant. "I can see up yer skirt.... These guys have some planar friends I think. Let's hang back, see how the big boys handle them." She recoats her blade with poison, after her last strike on the big man was wiped clean."Sorry, I'm not more bold, but, I'm not cut out for warfare. I like street-fights... when they'd don't know I'm involved." she gives Tamis a smirk, and then pulls on her mask, and looks ready to dress back into her black leather suit.

You have all cleared out most of the lower hills or made them flee.

The hobbits are too busy pulling the brother scout back. This one watched as his brother was cut down, and bashed for good measure by Silme. He memorizes Silme's face, and yells in his squeaky little voice, "I'll find you! I'll come! And I'll kill you!"

The elves that can be spotted and probably a few more fire cover shots to aid the retreat of the hobbits. Silme is hit hard in the back, and hits a major vein, causing him to bleed a bunch! {d:9, 20 non-crit-, but max damage!}

Hiram is also hit with a nasty arrow shot in his right leg, which gives him pain! {d:8}
An elven voice shouts in the elfin tongue, "Ramstead! Vochel! Get outta there!"
It is clearly directed at the dwarves battling Kithas and Charlie the undead unicorn.

The dwarven priest steps back to heal himself moderately, and digs in to continue the battle. Vochel answers in poor elfin, almost as if resigning himself to his fate, "Get the others to saftey! Ramstead and I know what to do!"

The big dwarf, Ramstead nods in silent agreement as he continues to batter the unicorn, but it seems a lot more sturdy than he even can figure out, the burly dwarf, Ramstead looks confused.

Kithas will be the first to discover what the lumbering noises are. Thundering down the hillside is, what looks to Kithas, to be a 7 foot tall Rhino-man in banded armor. This thing is thick, and bearing down through the brush with its horn down for attack. It is about 40 feet up the hill when Kithas can finally make out what it is through the shrubs.

That is not all! Appearing right beside him was an 8 foot tall horse-man, steaming mad steam out its nostrils, and stepping out of blue dimension door.

Silme will hold with Hiram...

Kithas is far from Gorganiean, and can hold his healing charge...

The undead unicorn pokes and batters the good dwarven priest, and bloodies him bad. The dwarven priest grimmaces, and says, "Ramstead... go!"

"Not on yer life ole buddy!"

Gorganiean will charge full speed up the hill and will be in range to strike the priest near his allies next round. This priest looks almost done. The big, burly dwarf, Ramstead looks like the bigger threat.

Silme will move forward with Hiram and be healed, they will see the raging gnoll rush by them up the hill. Both dwarves will see this mad dash!

Avery pulls her leather pants on, and continues to dress. She smirks as Tamis gets playful in banter, "You best stay over there. I saw you try to be sneaky in Gethry."

Ramstead batters the unicorn some more, and his fellow dwarf attacks as well with a battle cry. Their fury finally finishes the undead unicorn, Charlie. Kithas and your treasure chests go tumbling to the ground. Kithas crashes off his dead mount and hurts himself, {d:6} but manages to concentrate and keep the held healing charge. He is at the feet of the two planar creatures.

The horse-guardinal charges at the on-coming gnoll. Gorganiean will see the horse beast engage him with a mighty whinny as it comes in close. It is still about 15 feet from Gorganiean. The whinny deafens Gorganiean. It also sends out 3 violet, magic missiles that pelt the gnoll hard! {d:12}

The elves fire shots on the retreat, but none of the arrows hurt the group.

The Rhino-man comes leaping in a jump kick attack that looks like an enormous fat man flying through the air, and coming down into the heap that is Kithas. It tries to charge head first into Kithas, but the cover of the undead unicorn and the fact that prone Kithas in the bushes is hard to hit cause him to miss. Gorganiean will see his potential healing {Kithas} in danger over the shoulder of this Horse-man.

Silme can tell he barely struck the beast through its tough skin, but he did cause a tickle of pain. {d:5}

Hiram drops back as he sees the warriors engage the main front-line creatures. He will begin his summoning....

The big dwarf moves toward Kithas and swings his mighty weapon through Kithas' armor like butter! Kithas feels a lot of hurt! {d:14} Gorganiean will see this very close by as Kithas was moving toward him.

The Rhino-man faces up to Silme, it swings a strange looking pole arm, and misses! He head butts Silme with his horn, and gores it into him! Critically! {d: 6... oooh bad damage rolls for me!}

The Horse-thing tries to batter Gorganiean with both its hoof-fists, and clangs off the armor with one, and bashes Gorganiean's arm with the other! {d: 11}

The exhausted Gorganiean clips the large horse-thing, and causes it a little pain, but not enough! He can tell it is resisting most of his blow.

Silme stands strong, but his attacks deflect off the fat man-sized Rhino creature's banded mail.

Kithas scowls at Hiram as he moves away from the dwarves, casting a spell as he moves. "Time to rise, George."

Looks like it's time to convert a gnoll into zombie stats. Converting a second level Cure Moderate to IMW. Even with a will save, it'll still do enough damage to kill him and raise him back as a zombie.

Sorry George!!

The new george has immediate orders to turn and attack the other dwarves chasing him.

Tamis' first shot deflects off the tough flesh of the Equinal, but the next one is a great shot right in its neck spraying blood everywhere, but not killing it! It squeals deeply in pain, and spots Tamis in the trees.

Kithas {going with OOC retro} heals Gorganiean, though he seemed to hesitate on the action... as if he was pondering something else. Gorganiean is up, and the Equinal snarls at Kithas as he sees the dwarf heal. {+17}

Gorganiean will roll away from combat and stand, and gets ready to enter the fight arming himself with his axe. He is still weakened by his rage... and unaware that Kithas might've had other plans. All he knows is Kithas got him back up.

Silme stands his ground strong, but is unable to penetrate the Rhino-man's armor.

Hiram sees Kithas make the last minute switch. His centipede seems to barely nip the large Equinal, but the inflicting touch sends the celestial creature back to its domain as it disappears in a golden pop!

Still no sign of crafty Avery....

The two good-aligned dwarves are both after Kithas and arrive in time to see Hiram 'send' the Equinal away. They both get an attack on Kithas. Vochal the priestly dwarf misses with his sword, but big burly Ramstead scores a critical strike with his battle axe. {d:33} Ramstead crushes the axe deep into Kithas' shoulder, blood flows freely, and Kithas crumples to a heap!

The Rhek swings its polearm, and clips Silme just a bit! {d:5} He stands his ground, and looks hard at Silme. "You and me now."

The sounds of the elves and hobbits can be heard, but it sounds like they are trying to get the survivors to retreat with them.

End Round 11---------------------------------->
{Hiram, the centipede, and Gorganiean are nearby the two dwarves Ramstead and Vochal. Kithas is dying at the feet of Ramstead. Silme and the Rhek are higher p the hill maybe 40 feet away.

George would prefer to attack the priest first, but only if he can do so avoiding AoOs. He will also prefer to flank a flanking position, but again only if he can avoid AoOs.

Round 12:
Tamis will move back into the woods and disappear.

Kithas loses more blood as it pours from his shoulder.

Gorganiean has no trouble moving on the nearby priestly dwarf. He looks sick too! Then Gorganiean drops the dwarf with a mighty blow! This dwarf lives, but is dying rapidly, right next to Kithas.

Silme clangs and batters his weapons against the creature's armor. Both of these two look tired, and they both seem evenly matched. It grits its teeth and readies its own attack.

Hiram's Hellish centipede attacks Ramstead, and takes a chunk out of his arm. The sturdy warrior is tough and is uneffected by the poison.
Hiram will carefully move near downed Kithas and heal him. {+24}
"He stays down!" Ramstead yells at Hiram.

Kithas, on his back, is just brought to consciousness when Ramstead moves with a step and hacks into his belly causing him a painful awakening. {d:11}

The Rhek hits again with its odd large weapon, and once again just clips Silme. {d: 5 } Once again the Rhek seems disappointed with the scratch. {OOC- Well, the damage rolls againstSilme are going his way. Low rolls help in that way.} The horn clangs off Silme's shield.

Kithas moves away on a full retreat, rolling away from Ramstead, who is practically on top of him. The dwarven priest will get to cover, so he can recover for the next round.

Gorganiean flanks with the centipede and swings with his own axe. The burly dwarf manages to block the attack with his fine metal shield. {OOC- Not quite good enough. :smalleek: }

Silme is having serious problems on his attack, but he still stands. He looks tired, and the sword completely misses the fat Rhino-thing. His shield clangs harmlessly off armor.

Hiram and the centipede also attack Ramstead. The centipede bites and actually poisons the resistant dwarf! {a 2!} Ramstead, was quick for his size, but the poison seems to make him a little more sluggish. Not to mention the centipede left a nasty bite with its large pincher jaws.

Hiram's long sword pokes deep {d:9}, but fails to finish the mighty dwarf. Ramstead looks ready to drop, but stands his ground!

Avery pops out of the woods near Silme, with her poisoned short sword. She stabs the Rhek with deadly accuracy, but fails to assassinate it, nor even poison it, but Silme got timely aid from her critical attack! Avery cut open some artery, and the Rhek is looking bad! She gives Silme a look, "I can't let you go dying on me. Kalima likes you." She winks to the man who has been in one-on-one combat for a while now.

The Rhek focuses its attacks on Silme, despite the dangerous assassin's attack. It misses, and its horn jab looked terrible.

The burly dwarf glares at Kithas in hatred. "Your time will come soon!" He wails his axe into Gorganiean. Two mighty chops to the gnolls chest finally kill him. {d:8 and 13} Gorganiean collapses in a big heap. Ramstead turns to Hiram and the centipede, who surround him. Kithas moves to the dying priestly dwarf, and raises the dead priest to zombie status! Ramstead screams, "You inbred swine!!"

Silme's sword scratches the bandmail, but his shield bruises the Rhek a little.

The centipede drops and kills Ramstead with a mighty bite that opens his bowels. Hiram makes a dash to aid Silme. Hiram is too far through brush and bramble to get to Silme's aid, but will be able to step right in right away. The Rhek will notice Hiram as he steps up, but he seems intent on killing Silme.

Avery stays in to fight now that the tide has turned. She reveals her melee attack is much less effective than her sneaky poison attack. Her sword deflects off the thick armor.

The Rhek batters Silme with his pole-arm {d:10} smashing his sword arm badly. Silme is pained, and his own blood flows freely from his arm.

Round 14-------------> Battle almost over!
Tamis last arrow breaks on the Rhek's armor.

Kithas and his newest undead friend, move towards the Rhek.

Silme continues his failure in battle and finally fumbles his sword, as blood pools into his palm from his upper arm.

The centipede had moved, of course, after it killed Ramstead, and is now able to bite the Rhek, unfortunately even ITS jaws can't penetrate the armor!

Hiram stabs the Rhek {-5} and causes it some more pain!

Avery ineffective.....

Rhek will batter Silme again with his pole-arm! Just clipping his chest! {d:5}

Hiram pats the centipede and sends it in the direction the elves retreated. It will be called back to Hell before it can go far, but if they left a scout, it may cause him to panic and reveal himself.

Hiram will take control of the zombie.

"Of course. There will be full healing for everyone. Kithas, Avery, and Tamis, make a first pass at looting the field. This is going to take some time."

Hiram cleans and sheaths his sword, and produces a wand. He chats with each as he heals them. "Silme, I commend your wisdom in not over-extending yourself while single-handedly battling the rhino. It is unfortunate that George fell, but had you required aid, we might have lost Kithas, too. I was trying to bait Ramstead when he went after George." Hiram shakes his head, "without his axe we'll need to be more careful."

"Kithas, thank you for the zombie. I feel your loss for the unicorn and for Arnat and George."

"Avery, I'm sorry about Arnat."

Tamis will remember, as she speaks of selling the loot, that said 'town' will be far away, since the fort at the village of Gethry will have little to trade for your expensive magic items. Perhaps you could find maybe an officer or major landowner, but you will have to seek them out individually. Tamis will be able to use her skills to take this route, also Avery can offer some suggestions.

Tamis can keep watch as the group gathers the equipment. She will see most wildlife has also left the region, and it is quite devoid any animals or birds. The dead humans' blood fills the air, and she can see patient carrion birds waiting to descend.

The chainmail is wearable by the dwarf., however, the build of Ramstead’s armor, makes it specifically dwarf. {OOC- I do away with too much magical resizing, but many armor’s can be adjusted by skilled armorers or blacksmiths, so Ramstead’s armor could be reworked to fit a human. Chainmail is easy to deal with.

None of the armor or weapons are distinctive, but are well-made, and likely crafted by dwarves or elves. Tamis would say elven, by their slighty more slender appearance, but a long sword is a long sword for the most part. Many humans have demihuman made weapons, for slaver-arms dealers force many to work for them.

Hiram will do well to disguise the group, and can even make the undead Ramstead look somewhat alive with a hood. A couple of other fallen enemies have stabilized and may also be utilized as undead treasure-bearers. Tamis can see nothing even coming back. The filth of death and undead only drew the carrion beasts. Large buzzards could be seen in the shadows of the woods lumbering around.

Your way to Gethry is equally as peaceful, and with the undead bearer{s?} the travel will be 4 days, but Avery and Tamis can scout and find a good path away from anything remotely Alliance related.

That's hot. "That's terrible.

"Despite the insult to your flesh, I do not approve of these murders, nor the arson. To inflict such would make the noble class appear weak. "I'll second the fort. Tamis, you have every right to be upset, but I'd like your word that you won't start anything until we settle on a... mutually agreable course of action."
Hiram is thinking about staying up all night (yay lesser restoration for dispelling fatigue) to make some Gather Information checks. Is anybody else awake to use it on? Specifically,

What is known about Ramstead? Is he a folk hero? Do they know he's dead? Is there a price on his head? [roll0]

Is there a wizard (or priest) in town who might be able to cast identify. I'd like to leave him/her a message so they can prepared the correct spells tomorrow. [roll1]

Hiram would also like to get word on potential buyers for the loot we're less interested in keeping, and a money changer to trade out most of the coin. [roll2]

No-one around here will know who Ramstead is. He was a secret agent for the Alliance. Besides, most dwarves in Kandor were put to death or slavery. Unless they proved useful... ie Kithas. However, even Kithas has felt the stigma of his race living among humans. He saw how brave Noris was left to die ungracefully. Ramstead will probably be viewed as a grunt thug by most locals. Only Alliance people would know him.

There is a wizard at the fort, who will sell you a pearl {100 gp}, and charge 50 gp for the effort. Avery will assure you that she'll track him down in the morning.

In the meantime, Avery will try to draw you all close together, in a very serious and somber mood.

"I have something to tell you. I was going to wait until we were closer to the city of Norkan, but I don't think we're going to make it. You see..." she sighes guiltily, she gives the two priests a glance to make sure she has their support. "Silme... Tamis... you are both infected with Lycanthrope, and it is my job to make sure you make safe passage back to the Hall-of-Evil in Galorine. Alive."

How quickly can we make the journey, and what is to become of us when we arrive?" He appears to have taken this new development in stride, as one who has endured much in their lifetime.

There is 5 days until the next full moon.

Avery will be about to answer Tamis, when Silme shows his concern. "I had assumed it would be were-boars. That's what attacked you... but maybe, and since you are willing to work with the wizards, maybe they can help you control it. She also wanted to find out what controls the race of the animal. Perhaps that too can be changed." She pats herself down, and then reaches into her crotch and does a little uncomfortable digging, and then pulls out what looks to be a thin scroll tube, a little damp...

She looks at all of you with a smirk, and shows you it, "My special hidden toy. This has a scroll of Sending, and if you are willing to submit to the wizards, I can call them now, and they will come get us right now, and take us to Galorine. &%$# walking!"

They notice the group.

Tamis can't remember all the men, but she sees two of the men that raped her. She was unconscious for much of it, but they did revive her from time to time.

Avery doesn't see them at the moment, and the group of 5 men start walking over. One speaks, "That's the little hussy we caught robbing papa's place."

"Hehe... she had a sweet little &^%$y."

"And isn't that the girl who tipped our brother off." The lead chunky man points to Avery, who know notices them.

"Sure is. Hey, pretty ladies, you wanna have some fun again. That girl in black sure wanted to join in the fun last time."

Avery will look to the others, and move away. With careful concentration she manages not to f-up the scroll's spell, and mutters a Sending to someone, ending with, "....and send someone fast!"

Avery waves you all close, "Come on get close. Those fools are worthless."

Merianna leads on in the dark underground corridors, and gives Avery a look, "This might've been easier than I thought. Getting people to risk the affliction is quite rare."
Avery only smirks silently, following along as if she knows these underground halls well.

Merianna talks on as you walk, "The guild has given me the chance to offer you each your own guild-suite. Small, but well furnished apartments. Mostly the basic living stuff, but you can supply it as you like. Things are quite safe down here, for we wizards of the guild deter theft... with death. No-one likes those who steal from their allies. Even thieves. There is even a lab where you can build your items, even buy supplies to help build them"
To Tamis she says, "You are free to roam the guild underground, and the above city, as long as you take the secret access points. Once again, violating these laws by showing unwanteds down here will result in your and their death. Galorine is likely the most savvy city in the empire since Dominus was destroyed. As for playing, just don't rob the wrong people, don't get caught, pay your guild fees, and all will be fine."

To Silme she adds, "If you want, I can take you to the wizards now. We are in no rush, the onset time will be a few days still. I thought you might get acclimated to your new surroundings."

Avery and Tamis:
Avery will be pleased with Tamis' choice, and at some point in this underground will take a branched hall, that will lead to a ladder. This ladder leads to a sewer duct near an alley. Then the city proper will be entered.

This is a stunning city with magical and non-magical airships passing overheard, streets packed full of diverse humans, and many with silver slave collars on. This is a huge city, and likely anything or anyone can be found here. For better or worse...

She will smile as Tamis walks with her. They will merge with the crowd in a middle-class residential neighborhood that is low populated right now. The business districts are packed. Many horses, wagons and other vehicles provide dense traffic jams along the way. "Where to now, milady. You can see why we moved operations below ground."

Walk to Guildhall:
Merianna will take notice of the items Hiram shows.
Most of you end up here. Coming from a secret passage in the kitchen, you will enter a great casino room, with many gambling types, and gorgeous whorey-looking woman. Merianna will try to push through this mess of guild-people, but not without drawing attention. She is well-known, and everyone turns to look at the new-comers. A few rough-type men give Silme a nod.

He's never met members of the warrior-guild, but he'd guess they'd look like these big lunks lounging around the many activities here. Also here are crafty, cunning thieves types, and even a few other professions you might not want to know of.
"Plenty of time for this if you want. You're suites are not far."

And a couple of other questions, what do you suggest i do if i am pregnant? Yes George found the note and handed it to me.

And whats the guild actually like? Is the city fun to play in assuming we don't cross the wrong people? Or do we have to do boring things like wait?"

She will say all this without once looking across at Avery her eyes always roving the streets and windows specifically looking for anywhere that looks like it might be moderatly rich without having some stupid form of protection where she could have some fun and not have high risk.

Sliding into the busier streets she will make sure her head and face is still cowled with the locks escaping a little and her leg sliding out of her slit'd armour now and then, not that she can compete next to Avery but is probably better than most in the city district.

Guild Hall: {Hiram, Kithas, and Silme}
Merianna smiles, "This area is not deep. Even the King has been here, but he really just works for us. We just keep his harem full of beautiful women, and he does whatever we say. I will take you to your suites, right this way."

This great casino room is left behind, and you will pass other chambers, like a thief training complex, even an underground arena. There is a whole city beneath Galorine.

Not far from the casino will be an elevator, which may be a strange bit of technology to you all. She will take those with her into the small room, and command it to go to level 6. "We'll keep you all together. This elevator is magic, so only those residents can access each floor. We have already provided access to you. You, of course, can bring other guests to your chamber if you want. IF they are guild approved. Plenty of Ladies-of-the-Night around here to keep you company. Avery is one part-time. So was I long ago."

There will be a long hall with many doors spaced far apart. You will be given a large apartment with one bedroom, a bathroom with hot-cold running water.

OOC- I will allow a little of your own design here if you want, but you basically have a suite that any noble might be jealous of. You might even think 'what does the King have, if I have this?'

Tamis in the City with Avery:
Avery speaks in Thieves cant with Avery as they walk, though she tries to keep it subtle, "The first thing to know is that this city is fair game. If you don't have enough protection... well, too bad for you. You may want to check on who you're robbing, because it could end up being the King's baker, and then you'd piss off a lot of people.
As for a long bow, I recommend getting one from the guild. We can get a good 10% discount off standard prices there. When we go back below I'll show you where."
Avery seems to be avoiding the pregnancy issue as she tours with Tamis by the plush rolling hills of the wealthy estates. Finally she will touch on the pregnancy, she turns a little cold and serious, "I'm here to make sure you have the child... and when you do, the guild won't let you keep it."

Setting to work, he smoothed out the dings, restoring its flawless surface and gleaming shine through raw effort. When he was finished, all that remained was the long slash across the wolf's face, crossing its eye like the old wound of a battle-scarred veteran. Like me, he thought. He left it as it was.

With this he turned to his sword. The blade was notched and pitted, dulled from much use. He had taken it from the cold hands of a filthy commoner he had beaten to death with his bare fists. Even after all these years, it still did not sit right in his hand. He hefted it in his hand, and flung it into the wall, the blade remaining, quivering, where it struck. With a damp cloth, he cleaned the grime of the road off his bejeweled scabbard and belted it once more around his waist, now empty.

Beneath Galorine:
Merianna will take those interested to an underground forum, with many stalls, and many wizards about hired to protect these valuable businesses.
It is an underground Acropolis, but huge. With many shoppes pushed into one great hall. The ceiling here is decorated like the night-sky, with many gods and goddesses highlighting the ceiling.

Mithral can be bought for 10% discount, with your new and official guild membership.

Hiram will have to spend a little time to make his potions, of course...
{OOC- But, I am going to let you players control the time for a bit, so I may pass a few months or so, unless you have other plans. :smallcool: }

Silme will find even a small training space in his apartment, if he wants, but there is the Guild Gym too, if he needed lots of space, and even fellow opponents to battle. There is a gladiator guild too, and the Arena is a huge business here in Galorine. The smaller Arena is also available to apply for fighting.

Tamis in the City:
Avery nods, and smirks a little, "No... I wouldn't have killed you... just knocked you out maybe... and we know you are pregnant... because Merianna and I made sure at the mayor's house in Gethry. You don't remember, because you'd been drugged." She waits for Tamis' reaction, surprised the elf is taking all this well.

When Tamis walks away Avery nods, "Any kind of arrow you can afford... with our discount of course."

Four months will pass in Galorine. Tamis is secluded for a long time. Even she will forget what has happened to her... she might not want to remember. Kithas and Hiram will be told that she no longer has to worry about her child. Silme will find he has some control over his form, but if he takes damage he could lose it. Hiram and Kithas are to keep a close eye on this one. Tamis will be under the care of Merianna for a little while.

Kithas is in the library, looking for lost valleys. There are a few with some dinosaurs out there.

Each of you may have undergone a change, or are considering future alterations.
{OOC- I allow even cyborgs, but usually other PCs don't like it, but I keep it balanced. And DM-smackdown is always an option.:smallwink: }

OOC- Anyway, we can roleplay out anything here of import, in the four months, but you will all be summoned to meet the High Guildmaster in his underground mansion. Merianna and Avery will accompany you, but will remain in the plush sitting hall. Only the four survivors of the Tinker Gnome raid will be allowed into the inner sanctum of the high Guildmaster. Silme, Kithas, Tamis, Hiram.

A dark-cloaked wizard will take you part of the way into a great decorated hall. Here will be the Guildmaster, and two pretty red-headed ladies, and a big mean looking thug. The wizard will leave quickly, leaving you all alone here.
{PCs- Sharon, Arha, and Sonny}
