Six down so far! 11 entries once again, keeping the streak alive! Now it's time for the voting thread.

Simple rules. Vote for your number 1, number 2, and number 3 picks. You can't vote for yourself. A number 1 vote is worth 3 points, a number 2 is worth 2, and a number 3 is worth one.

Also enter your top two picks for the next theme from those randomly pulled from the list of future themes. The winner will be our next theme, while the runner-up will be guaranteed to be in the voting next cycle. A number one pick is worth 2 points, and a number two pick is worth 1.

Keep it Simple and Subsystems Online both carried over from the last voting thread since they were tied for runner-up. Please contain your theme votes to these five themes. If the one you wanted to vote for isn't here, blame google's random number generator and hold out for next time. Feel free to make new theme suggestions still, I will add them to the overall list and they will have a chance of being rolled for next month's contest.

This thread will stay open until the end of the day February 24. The following day I will recheck all vote counts and declare a winner, then post the next contest thread. Good luck everyone!

I'll get my votes in early.

1) College of Fraternity - I really liked the simplicity of this subclass. You get good things, it encourages the use of consumables, and it just looks like it would be fun.
2) Master Hand Patron - It's a spooky hand, and it will mess you up! :)
3) School of Telemancy - Another spooky hand that will mess you up, but in a different way.

Good job everyone, I really enjoyed reading the entries in this one.

Edit: Just wanted to make a theme suggestion here. Impossible Theft, anything from a paladin with sticky fingers to a rogue that steals spells from archfiends and old ones.

Class Options Votes:
1) Rogue: Bar Brawler - Honestly, I think the flavor text was the tiebreaker. Wanting to hit people with tables (oh, and snatching them unseen) made me laugh.
2) Wizard: Telemancy - This one clicked pretty well with me. It sounds like the kind of thing some wizards would like to specialize in.
3) Bard: Fraternity - I never expect to pick bardic colleges, as I think the class is generally poorly designed (for class options, anyway), but this one just feels right to me.

Honorable mentions to the Luchador Bard and Sacred Fist Paladin. I don't normally list anything past my votes, but I was really impressed by the entries this time around and wanted to highlight that by showing how difficult the rankings were for me and expanding them a bit. I liked several of the others, too--even my least-favorites were fairly well-designed, though I didn't care for the flavor.

1st: Bar Brawler. Your flavor text really sold it, as I believe has been mentioned. But beyond that every part of it is constructed well, and the theme is excellent as well.
2nd: College of the Luchador. My favorite use of the theme hands down (pun recognized but not planned). Unfortunate that bard offers very little wiggle room in its subclasses, but that is what it is.
3rd: Variant Multiclass Monk. I've been a fan of the Variant Multiclass system since the beginning, but they often only tangentially align with the contest's theme. For once, I think it was a perfect fit.

This was a close contest. All of the entries were on-theme and looked balanced, so mostly it came down to gut preference. These three most aligned with my personal enjoyment.

For my themes I'm gonna go with It Is Written first and Subsystems Online as the second.

I found the various punching things boring, so I rewarded the three best grapplers, in my opinion:

1) College of the Luchador
2) Oath of the Sacred Fist
3) Strength Domain

And I like Luck as a theme.

Alright everyone, our voting period has ended and it is time to tally the results!

In 3rd place, with 7 voting points, we have SleeplessWriter's Bar Brawler Rogue. For when you really need to hit someone with, then run off with, a table.

In 2nd place, with 8 voting points, we have Vogie's Master Hand Patron. For when your eldritch master is a giant floating hand with a propensity for playing with Nintendo figurines, and they taught you to do the same.

In 1st place, also with 8 voting points, we have nickl_2000's Bardic College of the Luchador! Wear a mask and wrestle some baddies in style, all while talking the best trash ever seen in DnD, because you're a bard!

The tie for 1st place was broken because Vogie did not submit a vote before the tallying of results. If he had, the next tiebreaker is number of 1st place votes. There is no third tiebreaker, the tie would have just stood in that case.

In the voting for theme, we have a clear winner in Well, That's Fortunate and for the third consecutive contest we have a tie for runner up. Subsystems Online will pass automatically into the next voting pool yet again, while Keep it Simple, Stupid was upstaged by It Is Written for the runner-up and so look for Subsystems Online and It Is Written in the next contest's voting pool!

Thanks everyone for playing, and the new thread should be up shortly!
