View Full Version : D&D 5e/Next Mario DND 5e Campaign - Jets v. Sharks (except it's Toads v. Goombas)

I'm new to Dm-ing and I thought that it might be interesting for my players to play a Mario themed D&D campaign ... I've got a very basic plot for their first adventure that will involve a Goomba Biker Gang causing havoc in a Village/Town so that their boss can claim some turf and "earn" some respect from a rival toad gang, and the players are enlisted by the local authorities and townsfolk to stop the bikers and all out gang warfare. I just have questions about like CR scaling and how to pace an adventure so that i'm not left with like 3 hrs of nothing cause the players already completed my task (as in how much should i have prepared for a single session?:smalltongue::smallsmile:)
