d20 is nice and all, but something bugs me. Armor comes in kits and sets.
What if you get a chain shirt but have studded leather pants and a metal helmet?
That's three different types of armor.
A Roman Legionnaire from 100bc typically wore hinged laminated steel pieces riveted to leather straps over a medium clothes but leaving the forearms and below the knees completely uncovered.
In the d20 system, how would we categorize that?
So does anyone have a decent homebrew for doing an armor piece system?
