Got a construct I am working on... wondering about appropriate levels for it. It has an Achilles heel that negates its Spell Resistance and Damage reduction under the right conditions and possibly the energy resistances as well... wondering what people think the CR should be both with and without those conditions:

Without, CR 5 seems a little high. It's tough, and potentially sneaky, but it only deals a potential 4-9 damage per turn. A level 5 party can eat that easy, round after round, and just whittle it down.

Full attack is TWO slams... so 4-18 damage assuming at least one hit.

Still, it's not particularly impressive. Between 4-18 damage, if it HITS. Its low BAB means it really isn't a real threat on its own. I'd use them as guardians, physically blocking a location...But really, it's built kind of like a stalker. Needs to have something special besides the achille's heel.
