I vote for the Soul Hounds. I like the idea that demons like to send out assassins instead of waiting for their clients/victims to die.

I'd vote for myself, but that would be terribly cheesy, so I shall vote for Disruptor. Divine assassins are fun. =)

Dang. I thought I had a little more time to make the edits to my creature. Oh well.

I vote for the Votive Guardians. I like the style, the back story works for me, and there is a very clear connection between its abilities and stated creation. Though I admit, when I first read its name, I assumed it would be a candle golem.

This thread deserves a *bump*.

I vote for the Votive Guardian, with the Oculans as a runner up.

Quite frankly, I see the Soul Hound as diametrically opposed to the general outlook of Asmodeous, which is to say, patient. He knows that all mortals must sooner or later come to him, and sees no particular need to hurry things along.

I really like both the Votive Guardians and the Voice of Divinity. Both are cool concepts ("Divine Speech" flavor Jell-O? Nice.) and are pretty well executed. The special abilities of the Votive Guardian are cool and, particularly in the case of Santuary, could be pretty useful plotwise; and its overall theme is really spiffy. Similarly, the Voice of Divinity's general theme is cool, and it's very unique.

I'm going to cast my vote for Votive Guardians, officially, simply because its entry is more correct format-wise. They're both even otherwise, as far as I'm concerned, so it'll boil down to what is ultimately less important details to decide it.

Great job to everyone who entered.

I vote Soul Hounds! Yay for Asmodeous!

I'll vote for Disruptor with Oculans as a second. Congrats to everyone, but I'm a bit puzzled about the obvious lack of interest in this (voting part).

*gives this a kick*

i like the oculans. gimme a robotic eyeball any day.

Voting on the Sacrificials, myself.

The idea of one person saving the day through martyr tactics is interesting, despite the odd nature of the outsider (Live to die? Kinda sucks).

My vote goes to Pure Thought, cause it's cool.

And voting has come to a close.

Thistle wins this month's contest with his creation, the Votive Guardian!

I'd bestow a VT's Award, but can't decide which one is cooler than the others, so just all consider your's awarded.

Congratulations, and Happy New Years!
