Im a pixel artist by nature, and my internet persona is that of a Cat-Demon known as Matt Katt, a persona created in the roleplay section years ago on the Top Web Comics Forum. He's a humanoid with cat-like features, bat-like wings, a trenchcoat, jeans and a perchant for whiskey. Shotly after adopting this persona, I created a pixel avatar that looks like him:

I also have different ones in different costumes for different seasons and different reasons:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/Summer-Oni.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/Hooded_Figure.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/OozeNekoOni.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/PimpNekoOni.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/HalloweenNekoOni.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v56/MattKatt/SantaNekoOni.gif

I also make a new avatar for different forums I join. The current one, of course, can be seen on the left <-- Him as a low level fighter.

For this forum though, I feel like one avatar wont be enough. I would like to make several Neko-Onis of different classes, levels and abilities, but obviously making one of each would take a stupid amount of time and effort. So, I was hoping that a few people on the forums could suggest some avatar edits that I could do of him. All suggestions will be concidered and the ones I like, I'll probably make.

Also, if people want, I can make them avatars too of the same style. As an example, a demon in half-form I was asked to do once years ago:

These are pretty good. I never understood how people did pixel art though. Do you draw every pixel individually?

Pretty much. Zoom right in (usualy about x8) and grab the pencil tool. its really easy to do with MSPaint, but to do animations, programs with layers like Photoshop are good too. I happen to use both, depending on what I do.

Just as a heads-up for those who may have forgotten the new avatar rules, since I know that everyone here is conscientious and makes sure to read and follow the rules :smallwink: : animated avatars are forbidden here.

I know. These are examples of past works Iv done. If it wasnt for the new rules, my avatar would probably be one of the flying ones instead of just standing there with a sack of gold behind him

wyt ti'n siarad cymraeg? :smalltongue:

Not fluently, Im afraid. I fell asleep during most my welsh lessons in school. Most of my family never spoke it so I never had the welsh language background, and my mind cant seem to comprehend languages very well

Can you do an anthropomorphic rat for me, dressed in baggy clothing, and somewhat smelly.

If she's on a horse, that's even better.

Yours,

Ina 'Pestilence' van der Vegt

I could give it a go. Not making promises on the horse though.

Add to that the Orange Box, unreal tournament 3 and all the Age of Empire games, plus a slightly different background and youve got my current setup
