"Hello my pretty"

It's always so slow when new comics get posted... I'll initiatize as soon as I'm finished tweaking the character sheet.

Here we go...

Start in B13, pick and shield in hand, and double-move to J13. Your move.

2008-01-10, 04:47 AM

Bought nothing.

Move to O13

Longsword in one hand javelin in the other.

To Refs only

ready an action to throw the javelin at him as soon as he enters LoE unless he is only 5ft away then i will attack with the Longsword.
[roll0] - +1 if within 30ft.
[roll1] - +1 if within 30ft.

Your go.

Stats refs only.

HP : 11
AC : 18
ready action see above spoiler

Forgot to add in my draconic aspect (wings) when I took the Dragonborn template. Not relevant to this battle anyhow.

Move 20' to M13. LoE is unobstructed, and you have a ranged weapon in hand - did you have any readied actions?

For refs:
Ready a standard action to attack with my pick if he gets next to me.

I've reached my single move limit, so you may go.

2008-01-13, 06:35 PM
M13 to O13 has LoE obstructed considering it goes straight through the glass wall that forms that cross thing in the middle :P

2008-01-13, 08:52 PM
Actually, a line from the bottom corner of each square is unobstructed, giving you LoE, but because of the wall providing me with light cover. But either way, my heavily armored movement doesn't get any bigger. It's your move, for the refs, my spoilers still apply.

To refs AND Dragonstar:

I really can't agree with that because looking at the map the glass wall obviously obstructs any form of potential LoE.

Yes the squares are connected - but only by travelling through the glass wall (because it covers the only possible connection between our two squares and overlaps the M and N line)

So i'll take my next turn and if we need a rewind to here then so be it but i still don't see how we have LoE if your stood in M13 and i know im in O13.

Now onto my turn.

Bottom of round 2

Move to M7

Foam at the mouth and have a wild look enter her eyes Bulch's muscles bound up

and launch my javelin held in hand.

Your go

AC : 16

The wall blocks LoE in squares such as M13 and N13. It is a wall, you cannot attack through walls.

2008-01-14, 04:31 PM
*sigh* The whole point is moot. I kept rereading and looking at the map, wondering why it wasn't obvious to everyone else... and then finally realized that I typed M13, when I had meant to place myself in M11 (exactly a 20' move)... must get more sleep before posting...

Anyhow, what's done is done. That was a miss.

Charge to M8 and
with my Heavy Pick for a potential

Stats:AC 14 (due to charge)
HP 20/20
Fort +6, Ref -3, Will -1

You may go!

2008-01-15, 12:20 PM

Well that chafed.

Do the only thing i can and respond in kind :D - then pray you miss the next attack or roll minimum damage so we get a bleed off :P

And pray.

2008-01-15, 03:49 PM
Here we go... swift action, enter Righteous Fury (and hope I can hit).

for a potential

And that's my standard action... hold on... still have a move action left...

2008-01-15, 04:03 PM
Seems the forum roller hates me as much as my real dice. And I can't stick my computer in the microwave to teach it a lesson. :smallmad:

Anyhow, I'm going to 5ft adjust to N8, and pass the turn.

Stats:AC 16
HP 6/20 (plus Diehard)

Edit: I was crunching your numbers... did you enter a rage? I see where you may have meant it in flavor...

2008-01-16, 12:02 PM

Yes i did enter a rage sorry for not making it super obvious :) Yes it was where you thought i'd done it for flavour - I had meant to post and just forgot I guess :D

Free; Draw a javelin.
Free; 5ft step to L7

Standard; Throw the javelin and hope it hits.

End my, turn.

2008-01-16, 03:37 PM
Yegads - well, after weighing my options, I figure the dice have to switch in my favor sometime, right?..

Stumble forward 5ft to M8, whisper a small prayer to the Platinum Dragon and Strike!

for a potential

StatsAC 16
HP -6/10 (Yay Diehard!)

2008-01-16, 03:39 PM
You may go...

2008-01-16, 04:17 PM
Meh thats me down for the count.

I should've took die-hard i really should.

Oh well good game :)

Nice 20HP though thats insane for a first level character.

2008-01-16, 04:40 PM
Half-Orc Paladin substitution level from Races of Destiny grants a d12 Hit Die, plus the Regional Feat from Races of Faerun for another 5HP, and the con boost I got from the Rite of Rebirth for a total +3 mod... Yeah, that's a net 30 HP - a nice cushion to work with. :smallwink:

You might want to consider just two-handing your weapon - the extra strength damage would have taken me out. And of course at that point you just switch to a greatsword... Anyhow, great game!

2008-01-16, 05:38 PM
Ref Mav:

This might just be me, and I didn't check character sheets, but.. from the stat block stimpius posted, He's only been hit once, for 7 points of damage which leaves him with 6 left. Unless I'm missing something in which case I'll call the match for Dragonstar.

2008-01-20, 02:44 PM
GM Kyeudo

Since Stimpius failed to post, even though he wasn't entirely dead yet,
Kurgan is the Winner!

2008-01-22, 12:57 PM
He hit me for 8 after i had raged, my AC went down enough for him to hit me. He won :D
