For Refs:Ready an Action to attack my opponent when possible. Not sure what the official wording on that should be without attacking around the corner, but whenever I can get a clear hit on him.

For Refs:Since it just occurred to me that I am a Martial Adept, I should be readying Maneuvers... so, I'll ready Sapphire Nightmare Blade to attack my opponent when he enters any square within range of a five foot step.

A natural 20 on a skill check does not mean automatic success.



Unlike with attack rolls and saving throws, a natural roll of 20 on the d20 is not an automatic success, and a natural roll of 1 is not an automatic failure.

Like I said in the post I did it, I was pretty sure you couldn't beat it. Unless you had counter charge or something similar readied.

I don't think I can actually win this...

Hmm... okay. I guess my only option is to attack you.

Swift Action: Use Distracting Ember to place a Fire Elemental next to you at O15
Move Action: Draw my Greatsword
Standard Action: Attack you with my Greatsword using the Shadow Blade Technique maneuver.

[roll0] so 16 and 15, which both hit. So I get to deal an extra 1d6 Cold damage.
