BlackMoon - round 3

Before the centipede actually comes forth, my readied action happens by hearing the command word.

A spider appears, though I don't know where. We'll need a ref to adjudicate.
Us and our complications :smallcool:

The centipede misses and I will take my turn once the spider results happen.


Readied action goes off to cast SMI. Fiendish small spider.


I try to get it as close to Lumi as possible (Listen of 20 for command word) and it will attempt to get right up next to him and cast its web on Lumi. If it gets right next to him it will shriek, if not, it will remain pointed in his direction and remain silent.

BlackMoon's actual turn depends on results.

Readied action: Divine Powered Rapid Cast Summon Monster I, Spider.

[roll1] - if it connects Lumi is entangled. Adjust for range if necessary.

Sorry this took so long to get to, but it seems that we have a first in the Arena. BlackMoon's Listen check beat the DC to hear Lumi speak the command word for his amulet of vermin by 20, so he hears Lumi in Q2. I will let him decide where the spider apears, since he heard Lumi so precisely.

By your post you casted before you moved away from the centipede, so if this AoO hits you will need a concentration check or will need to redo your actions.

Also I am gessing that the wolfie missed due to concelament, right?

Protection vs. evil protects against any non-good summoned creatures, which includes neutral.

Honestly I'm surprised you didn't use it against me, though I have to admit it makes little difference in your case.

Oh, and your posting problems are server problems I'm willing to wager, and everyone is having those issues.

BlackMoon - round 4

The spider and wolf go chasing off in whatever direction you moved in, if any.

As Lumi cannot move farther than where the spider can reach, the spider will simply move or double move and then shriek and face his direction once he is right next to him. If he can attack (Lumi moved 30' or less) it will try and net him.

After the spider moves, the ice beast will move after. If possible, it will charge Lumi, with a grapple attempt. Otherwise it will just get right up next to him (or simply move 50' and attempt to grapple)

BlackMoon will move closer to Lumi, up to 30', and ready an action to cast command if he becomes visible.

Tell you what,
I'm just going to undo the spoilers. That is why there will be an edit. The results ended up being that my wolf probably succeeded on his grapple check and you need to roll escape artist.

Ok.

Although it doesn't matter now, your cent. used it's aoo against BlackMoon for that round (round 4). Also, wolfie can get to you in one move, so the charging point is moot (though technically he would be charging the square, but I digress). he ends up in the same spot regardless.

BlackMoon: Ends up in M5. Forgot to cover up readied action :smallannoyed:
Spider: Ends up in G3
Wolf: Ends up in H3. As a construct it obeys all commands. Your centipede doesn't understand common.

(I do have to say that at 1st I confused myself a little too and though centy had already used his AoO, but this is already a new round)

Oh and for the record. I do really hate invisibility. Not as much as I'm going to hate flying if we get that far, though.

Yeah, this matches end was inevitable once you escaped the spider/ice beast thing. I had nowhere near the resources for this match since the last match took it all out of me.

Not to mention I really don't like BlackMoon, so I'm not too unhappy about the result.

Note: I still played to the best of my ability. It was a well earned win.
