WoW D20- The Darkshore Alliance (Horde Style!)

Rain beats heavily down on the small town of Horm. Mountains surround the town on all sides, and huddled away in the numerous houses are the orcish residents of the town. As the sky turns ever blacker as the day progresses you find yourselves in the middle of the town searching for work. Thunder crashes in the sky as the area becomes even more inhospitable. No one seems to be outside, for fear of their lives. In the dark of the night, you begin you path to become a hero.

Let's get things started with a Spot check from all of you.

Throught the rain, you can make out what appears to be the shape of a mermaid or some other atroscity like a naga coming towards the town under the cover of darkness. With the flash of teh next lightning bolt, you are able to see the reflection of light come off their spears.

Alright sorry I took so long, This really shouldn't happen again, atleast not without a warning.

Naga? here ? what in the name of the water witch...
Zooloo grabs his gear and leaves the dry inn his was currently resided in. under the cover of darkness he moves with toward the naga. Being a troll, he knows that at general, naga have better relationships with his kind then others, like orcs. Aye, better to encounter them at the civilisations border, before they incite the others

As he comes closer to the naga (lets say about 60 ft) he stops hiding.
"What ya be do'ng here, Lady of the seas? Be your intents good or be they bád?"

Gorzun as he roams in the streets of Horm, notices strange movements at the borders of the town...He focuses his sight and now he can see that it is a naga...

-That's no good... In this time of the night I can only think of troubles coming...

He tries to stand in the shadows. Then he sees a Troll approaching the scene. He takes cover and tries to listen to the conversation without being noticed...

Bronak stood in the street, heedless of the rain. "Hmm. Good weather.” As he stood there he witnessed a troll burst out of a building and dash off into the night. “Well then. Wonder what’s up.” Curious of the trolls actions, Bronak calmly walked after it.

Seeing the possible presence of a naga Cid hides behind something near by and tries to get as close as quietly as possible.

In the rain you can see the naga heading over to try and get behind the orc that you also see outside on this stormy night.

@Bronak-
You hear the sound of something, not quite footsteps coming from all around you and get louder as time ever passes, but you can't quite see where the figure actually is.

@Warlock-
You can hear the sound of the nagas coming from somewhere around you, but you can't see where the naga is anymore, but by the sound it is not going for you.

Bronak stopped and looked around him. He growled in disgust. “Show yourselves!” He started reaching for his spear.

Gorzun sees suspicious moves. A Naga is approaching another Orc. Not just approaching... Trying to get behind him. Gorzun shouts:


BEHIND YOU! NAGA!


As I am in the range of 110ft. I draw back an arrow, aim for the Naga and waiting to see his intentions...One wrong move and...

You make out the image of a naga snaeking behind an orc in the cover of the night and rain.

As you shout to your friend, the naga closes in on him and begins to raise it's weapon to strike, leaving itself open for an attack. {OOC- Unfortunately, you don't get the bonus for favored Enemy. But yes, to use the Serpent Sting, just declare you are using it BEFORE you attack.}

Yeah the rolls are good. You're arrow flies throught the air and nails the naga in the arm. It then lets out a scream like the sound of a thousand waves crashing against a mountainside.

You guys hear the most horrifying scream come from directly behind Bronak.

Bronak whirled around, drawing his spear as he went. "HA!" He lashed out with his spear at the monstrosity.

As Bronak whirls around and slices the naga, it screams for a second and then falls to the ground. (Gorzun, you can keep that arrow). The air becomes silent and the surroundings become dark.

@Bronak-
You feel the arms of a scaly creature reach out and grab you out of nowhere. You struggle to free yourself from their grips. Make an opposed Grapple check please.

Bronak stood back from the Naga. "HA! Now I've got you snake!" He pointed a finger at the Naga and chanted a short and harsh incantation. A funnel of flame shoots from his finger and engulfed the Naga.

Bronak comes loose from the naga andjumps away. A second later, flames jump from his finger tips, engulfing the naga, however, because of the surroundings, the flame doesn't seem to have done much damage. In the next moment Zooloo, jumps out of nowhere and impales one naga on his spear. The last naga attempts to run away in fear.

Bronak laughed and slammed his spear but down into the ground. "Very good troll! Those Naga didn't know what hit 'em!" He walked over and clapped his hand on the trolls back. "I am known as Bronak!" He then noticed that another orc was nearby. "Ah, you have helped as well? You have my thanks."

((Oh, and about the type of adventure I want to go on... I don't know. Maybe... wow, I can't think of anything at the moment. Maybe an idea will strike me later.))

Are you alright? You saw them who's the boss here for sure... I am Gorzun Longshots, born and raised in the Valley of Trials. This is my first journey outside my homeland. There are many things to hunt. It's always nice to meet another fellow Orc out here.

He smiles, showing his great yellow/white tusks. then he strides towards the corpse of the naga and pulls his spear out of the corpse of the critter. "Seems I be hav'n fish for breakfast ... I wonder though what could of ticked off the sea witches." he turns to the orcs and adds "What have ya kind done now?"

This is my first day here, also. Arrived early in the morning and wandering the town. Getting supplies to go for hunting and looking for a place to sleep for the night. And suddenly I see a Naga fighting with an orc...

As you unravel the scroll, you can see the etchings of poorly written common.
"Bring what you can back to the Order, and with all haste make it back to our home." It then follows to lay out a map of the nearby mountains and area. If you have any Knowledge skills like local or geography, now would be the time to roll them, untrained if necessary.

The troll stears at the location the sun comes up, tightens his grip on his spear, and licks his lips.

"East you say? Might be a good place to start zie ghunt"

Bronak shrugged. "I care not the direction in which we go. As long as I get further chance to exact vengnce for the wrongs done to us." He hefted his spear like a walking stick and motioned for the others to lead the way.

If no-one else feels the need to walk first, Zooloo will. Since trolls are famous for their healling powers, it's so expensive to heal the others, if something unexpected happens ...

As you venture out east into the mountains, you pass various little creatures and some deer. There is the beggining of a forest in the area and the shade starts to envelope your path. Spot checks and marching order please.

Zooloo the troll will suggest he goes first, because he is a good scout and has good defences ... unless someone more armored would want to do it

You notice some tracks on the road leading a little ways off the path. As far as you can tell they look like normal humanoid tracks. Anyone with the Track feat can try a Survival skill check for more info.
