I'm making a setting, the material plane is a universe on its own, and as such has planets, and two or three will be currently inhabited(there were more but a war made them uninhabitable, and there are a few worlds that can support life but none has developed as of yet), I'm planning on having the only way off the main planet is to activate a machine on an old crashed ship, relasing some smaller crafts or sending out a signal
the previous owners of the ship were mindflayers, though the corpses long rotted away and (being http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RecycledInSPACE?from=Main.INSPACE)have a language unintelligible to normal ears)
the other world is home to those two escaped slaved races who's proper spelling escapes me
the mindflayers are supposed to be all cyberpunk-y, (http://www.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CyberPunk) and this brings me to my main question
is it a good Idea to put this much cyberpunk(when I finish with the world I'm going to start the campain, wich may use a reality bending space ship or regular magic, to travel between the planes((thanks to how the planes work its a bit harder to travel without some serious ability)))
