Fine...will continue with my actions...
IF he does not come through the left side, I think he will from the right. If he will play similarly to me when I played BAM, he will choose the fastest way to get to the top of the map, moving from tree to tree for bonuses. Also, because he has 2 scrolls for AC boost, I think he will try to cast those before reaching my location...think he will start with Mage armor because it has a high duration and shield probably near the end of cover from the barn...

He will probably not enter the cursed barn of doom, because of A) his hide skill has only +2 and B) because he probably thinks I will not enter it anyway.

he needs to get near me...25 feet is enough to fire off his Scorching ray, and if I survive that somehow, his lesser orb of fire...I know because I use the LOoF.

In conclusion, my dog will continue his move action from I6 to L6 and stop there. I will cast entangle so that it will take effect on the area R1-Z7. The spell has a spread of 40 Feet in every direction from the grid intersection, so it means the intersection of Y(-1) - Z0.

Your turn, unless the refs have any objections to what I stated above...

LoS is barely (as in I had to use a ruler) established between the corners of P6 (where there is a hobbit on a dog) and T12 (where there is an elf).

Terran, you may change your actions if you want.

Reverse all actions after theterran's move in Round 4.

@theterran:

The entangle spell has a 40' radius. Thus, the only possible placement for spell center that comes close to meeting the area parameters given (R1-Z7) is Z1, NE corner. This places the actual effect of the spell at R1-Z8, and any square within 40' of this location is affected. This includes Y8.

You successfully saved vs. Entangle upon entering square Y8. Play continues from this point. Please finish the remainder of your turn.

Note: Even on a successful save, Entangle limits you to half movement. Thus, any move from your current square will cost 10' of movement.

LoS is established between Mr. Underhill in K21 and Fire Fox in X19. This triggers a readied action by Bayar and something appears in P21 (Bayar has to choose what)

theterran
2008-02-20, 11:44 AM
Bayar mislabeled his previous round as 5 when it was 4.

So he readied an action during his round 4, that takes place during my round 5.

So he takes his readied action.

Then it should be his turn first at the top of round 6...is that right?

Bayar
2008-02-20, 12:03 PM
Hmm...so it was round 4...so...how will we settle this redux things...I maintain my readied action in round 5, you trigger it in your round 5 and I finish it in round 6...fine with refs?

Wolfachu, I choose you!

theterran
2008-02-20, 12:33 PM
My Round 5 happens first though...

So I would be in X19 at the beginning of your turn in Round 5.

If you readied that action in Round 4 as well, then it would trigger in round 5, but if you readied it in Round 5, it would go off right away.

I'll differ to the refs though.

Bayar
2008-02-20, 01:05 PM
yes, I readied it in round 4, and was gonna maintain it ready in round 5, so yeah, it triggered, so something is going to happen in my round 5...as I finish casting a spell...

Talic

Initiate Ref Talic

Firefox is ahead in the initiative count over The BAMMr Underhill. Thus, in post 36, The BAMMr Underhill's action was actually the end of round 4.

Firefox then took her round 5, and triggered The BAMMr Underhill's readied action in Round 4. The BAMMr Underhill took a standard action to begin casting a full round spell, and her initiative changed to just above Firefox. Thus, this is the end of round 5.

Start of Round 6, The BAMMr Underhill finishes his casting. Select options that need to be selected for the spell you cast, determine the targeted square for the spell's affect, and continue from there. You've spent a standard action to complete the spell, so you have a move action remaining.

Play proceeds from that point. After The BAMMr Underhill finishes, it will be Firefox's turn at the end of round 6.

Edit: get caught up in the crunch, mistype the name. Corrected.
