I was bored on day, having to play a Fighter. My party couldn't cross-class until 10th Level, so I got an idea for this. Using some other feat that I forgot the name of (Go figure) I made this up...
Spell Sword
Perquisites: 8 BaB. 0-level spells and higher, weapon proficiency.
The wielder is allowed to charge a magic spell into his weapon and attack regularly, adding additional damage from the magic spell.
Effect: Along with your attack, you add the additional spell damage.
Ex. 12 Damage with a Great sword, charged with Magic Missile, making it 18 damage. If you’re above 10th level, you can forgo damage rolls for spells, making max damage. (Must roll for weapon attack)
You can only do this attack as many times as you can cast the spell per day.
My DM said it was overpowered, but not broken....what do you guys think?
