Jeb will make no purchases for the simple reason that he has almost no money (but he does have a wicked scar across his throat and on his posterior)

Initiative [roll0]

Ditto for Jim, as he accidentally lived up to his nickname in the last round.

@Refs

EDIT: Start in K6, Move to K11, standing (that means I have only partial cover, but can still see things, correct?), and hide.
[roll0] Hide
[roll1] Reactive Listen (in case Jeb is a suddenly sneaky farmer)
[roll2] Move Silently, if necessary
[roll3] Spot, if necessary

Done.

Jim waits patiently, readying an action to manifest Mind Thrust on Jeb, should he come within range.

Done.

Jeb the Farmer round 2:

For Refs:
Jeb moves to 07, making a passive spot and listen. If he doesn't spot his foe, he will enter the barn and finish his move at L10. I'll put up stats later. Maybe. Grrrr. effort!

Your turn.

Jeb the farmer moves to L8, triggering Jim's readied action. Jim's action should give away his position at K11, so we now have LoS.

Alright, mind thrust does [roll0] Damage, will save (DC 15) negates.

((A note on giving away his position-- though mind Thrust has an auditory component, it can be centered on Jim or the target of the manifestation. Jim chooses to have it centered on the target. It should be possible to manifest without revealing his location, unless Jeb makes a spot check, right?))

From the SRD:
Auditory

A bass-pitched hum issues from the manifester’s vicinity or in the vicinity of the power’s subject (manifester’s choice), eerily akin to many deep-pitched voices. The sound grows in a second from hardly noticeable to as loud as a shout strident enough to be heard within 100 feet. At the manifester’s option, the instantaneous sound can be so soft that it can be heard only within 15 feet with a successful DC 10 Listen check. Some powers describe unique auditory displays.

Well y'know what? I said I was making passive spot and listen checks in my spoiler but I forgot to roll them.

Spot [roll0]
Listen [roll1]

and...

Will Save [roll2]

Edit: With that, Jeb the Farmer falls to the ground with blood pouring out his eyes and ears screaming "I surrender! I surrender! Thinkin not so good...good I...OW!" (he's at -3 but still concious because of Diehard)

Well done. May the rest of your victories be so loud.

I'll have to bring up the hiding issue in the Waiting Room. I haven't a clue on a good ruling for this.

Anyway,

Jim is the Winner!
