It's just a giant TV, not a hologram (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_Telepresence).

There was a screen that was based on smoke that was essentially a hologram billboard, but I can't remember what it was called. Maybe if you put together a lot of those ...

Good thing too. Star Wars hlograms suck. All blue and staticey. What's the point? Why not just use a screen and get good picture?

Star Trek holograms rock, though, even if they make less sene.
