Haruki, after looking at your earlier works, I was to compliment you on how far you've come. You used to take an entire comic to set up one joke, but now you've gotten to where there are lots of little jokes in the comic. Also, your work with objects and movement has greatly improved, as well. Hehe, poor Phase and its the full moon, too. He's very busy during this time, I assume. Now he has to put up with TV Tropes, as well.

Oh my god, it's a comic where my expression actually changes. It's a bloody miracle. [/faux Australian accent] In all of the Angelic Slayer comics that feature me, I basically alternate between mildly annoyed, mildly amused, or mildly apathetic. :smallamused: Well, add shocked to my list of facial expressions.

Anyways, great comic. The joke in um, *Counts panels* 31 and 32 kinda flew right over my head, but I can't understand them all, I guess. Baby Haruki and Baby Magtok are almost needlessly adorable.

I'm pretty sure that bloody is both a British and an Australian term. Australian slang is derived from British slang, y'know.

Quoted for the truth. Adorable things. And I kind of agree with MC about those two.
That was insanely funny and even though I've never heard of, let alone played, Kart Racing it still had me giggling.
Especially the MC/Saur and ruki-chan/Maggy bits.
And now I have an urge to see Baby versions of all AMENites.

EDIT: and bloody is British and Australian slang. And it's somehow fairly sophisticated for a swear word.

The comic is based on Mario Kart: Double Dash, methinks. Now, if you've never heard of Mario Kart, douse yourself with cold water. :smallannoyed:

Also, I think "bloody" is seen as sophisticated because of the fact that it's so stereotypically British, and doesn't sound as harsh as other minor swear words such as "damn" or "crap."

In the game, you use items (like the shells and mushrooms and such) to slow down your opponent (or boost your own speed) enough for you to take the lead and do a victory dance in front of your siblings/rival/etc.

I hate blue shells. I'm really good at Mario Kart Wii, which means I'm normally in first (even on Rainbow Road on a bike!), but I always get hit by the blue shells. Once, I was about to cross the line, first place, lap 3, and a blue shell hits me. It threw me over the line!

Anyway, awesome comic.

The characters are the signature characters of different Fast Food chain Restaurants, Ronald McDonald, the Burger King, Wendy, Colonel Sanders (KFC), and Carl's Jr. The head is Jack-in-the-Box and the rat is Chuck E. Cheeses.

Thanks. I recognized Ronald McDonald but all the others...

Burger King exists in Austria since about two or three years. They tried to settle here 20 years ago the first time but the Austrians only visited McDonalds.
I have heard there is such a thing as KFC but they never appeared here.

Hehe hilarious stuff!

Thank god I'm not on that plane, if I can be ruthlessly slaughtered in a court room god knows what would happen on a desert island!

Perhaps you were the pilot?

Even if that isn't the case, this story arc is sure to be great.

Co-pilot! What does the altimeter say about our altitude?

Madagascar did that already. If I'm to have a clichéd reference, it has to be clichéd in an original way. Especially if the whole thread is watching me plan it.

really? they did?

Actually, the guy who the wife ends up marrying is named spaulding, so way to go Madagascar for unoriginality.
