Quick question about advertising

I know the rules prohibit me posting advertisements for products made by a company I work for. Does that extend to putting a text link in my sig?

Though, I doubt you'd get in trouble placing a link to those products as your website (through your profile), but, INAM, so be sure to ask those who are.

There's a possible exception for creative items that you're personally involved with, such as a webcomic or book. So you might be ok if you were involved in creating the art for a video game for example, but a link to the latest gadget from Megacorp Inc where you're an accountant... no. :smallwink:

It never hurts to ask (PM) a moderator to get clarification, though.
