"On The Ropes" 9:30pm. He'll be talking about early onset Alzheimer's and about his plans for the future.

For those Pratchett fans in the Playground who are away from radio - or who suffer the misfortune of being foreign devils (joke :smallwink: ) - the show should be available for replay on BBC Radio 4 website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/ontheropes.shtml) under "Listen Again" until 27th May.

Don't do this to me!
I can't use the radio (busted) and I can't use the computer because it involves a download and my Dad's stingy.

Still, a ray of hope: Freeview!
It has it!
Oh joy! Now I can listen to it.
Huzzah desparation and new twisty thinking.

I got a call about this from my auntie so I didn't have to use listen again. Not that using listen again is bad.

It was pretty inspirational. He was incredibly upbeat about having alzheimers. Much more so than I would be. Most of it was stuff I already knew from his other interviews, but there were a few good anecdotes I hadn't heard before.

"I hope to have 3 A levels"

That explains the man's view of the world quite well I think.

And that story about the guy who was too radioactive to let INTO a nuclear power plant...

Yeah, he was so interesting, funny, and inspirational. Thanks for letting me know about it.
