I planned to use this thread to keep info upto date on House issues for the game.

House Kundarak

Patriarch Baron Morrikan d'Kundarak (LN aristocrat 3/fighter 6)
Coordinates operations of Banking Guild and Warding Guild from vast estates in Kundarakhold. Major family operations in Aundaire, Thrane, Karrnath, Breland, Zilargo, and Lhazaar Principalities.

Aundaire Branch

Overview-Aundaire ruled by Queen Aurala ir'Wynarn that has married Sasik (a member of the Dragonmarked House Vadalis) which has created tension between other Marked Houses.

Thrane Branch

Overview- secular and spiritual leaders always desire war, but current Keeper of the Flame desires peace overall. Religion is key here, Silver Flame. Church theocracy rules but royal family remains in place as a figurehead.

Karnnath Branch

Overview- strongest military tradition. King Kaius current ruler, struggles hard to keep current peace since no heir to throne. Seeks to improve relations with Thrane and Aundair, has good relations with Mror Holds (one its most staunch allies during war).

The Twelve- housed here. An arcane institute that attempts to maintain neutrality.

Breland Branch

Overview- likely the strongest nation. Armies battle monsters on the western borders and navy protects seas from pirates (likely from Lhazaar Principalities). King Boranel rules. Many large cities including Sharn here. House Cannith works from here primarily.

Zilargo Branch

Overview- Gnome homeland ruled by The Triumvirate, representing a leader from each of the three major cities. Each city ruled by a Council of Nine. Library of Korranberg located within Zilargo, possibly largest source of general magical knowledge. Produce great shipwrights and cartographers.

House Kundarak- maintains large outposts in all major Zilargo cities.

Lhazaar Principalities Branch

Overview- loose confederacy of pirate lords, sea barons, and merchant princes. Run mostly merchant work, but suspected to include a fair share of piracy. Blood of Vol holds court here.

House Kundarak- (need to create branch leader and isssue) (Of interest is working money and security in a land that has a fair share of pirate rulers)

The Twelve

Overview- Arcane institue funded by the Houses to study magic and dragonmarks. Failed to remain neutral during the war, but upholding neutrality now. Mainly seeks to advance the mystical arts.
