No one mourns the wicked

Enchantment [Good] [Mind affecting]

Level: Clr 4, Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Short (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Area: One living creature
Duration: Instantaneous and 1 day/level
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

No one mourns the Wicked
No one cries "They won't return!"
No one lays a lily on their grave
The good man scorns the Wicked!
Through their lives, our children learn
What we miss, when we misbehave:

And Goodness knows
The Wicked's lives are lonely
Goodness knows
The Wicked die alone
It just shows when you're Wicked
You're left only
On your own

This spell causes waves of longing to hit the target. If the target is of good alignment, nothing happens to it. It may feel a slight emotional discomfort, but nothing else happens. If the target is of neutral alignment, it might feel a slight longing to do something for someone he or she cares about, though the spell does in no way compel the individual to do this. If the target is of evil alignment, the longing forces the character to reconsider his or her actions. If the character succeeds on the willsave, nothing else happens. If the willsave fails, the target takes 1d3+1 points of wisdom damage which won't heal naturally for the duration of the effect. (Lesser restoration will restore one point of damage for each casting, restoration restores the usual amount of ability damage, though in both cases, the damage returns 1 hour/level after the spell was cast) The spell also affects the choices of the target. While under the effect of this spell, the target will try to restrain himself from performing evil acts. If there are two solutions to a problem, the target will choose the solution that will have the most positive outcome for his surroundings, even if it is more difficult.

The spell functions different for exemplar outsiders. They gain a +10 bonus to the willsave, and if they fail, they don't suffer from the lingering effect (at least not mechancially, though the feeling of doubt can linger for quite long, and even blossom). However, the spell strikes at the very core of their fundation, thus they will take 3d6+3 points of wisdom damage if they fail the willsave. (This damage will heal naturally though.)

Material component: A white lily

No good deed goes unpunished

Enchantment [Evil] [Mind affecting]

Level: Clr 4, Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Short (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Area: One living creature
Duration: Instantaneous and 1 day/level
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

One question haunts and hurts
Too much, too much to mention:
Was I really seeking good
Or just seeking attention?
Is that all good deeds are
When looked at with an ice-cold eye?
If that's all good deeds are
Maybe that's the reason why

No good deed goes unpunished
All helpful urges should be circumvented
No good deed goes unpunished
Sure, I meant well -
Well, look at what well-meant did:
All right, enough - so be it
So be it, then:

This spell will fill the target with a sense of hopelessness and despair. If the target is evil, it has no effect at all. If the target is neutral, he will feel doubt about how good being good actually is, though there is no real compulsion in these feelings. If the target is good, she is forced to question her own goodness, and question the worth of them. While under the effect of this spell, the target will be more selfish. She won't be as charitable or helpful as she used to be, she will be suspicious to her surroundings, and will be wary of being used.
