Title: Shinji and Warhammer 40k (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3886999/1/Shinji_and_Warhammer40k)

Genre: Adventure, Humor

Summary: Gendo, there is no word in the human languages for how thoroughly, inescapably screwed you are. There might be one in Eldar, though. They're a******s like that.

My Comment: You won't need any other fan fiction EVER after reading this. And no, this isn't 'shinji thrown into wh40k world' or crap like that. It just defies explanation, just read the first chapter to get some understanding..

I need to steal and modify that quote, it is too perfect.

Hint: It's more about Evangelion than Warhammer. You just need minimal familiarity with warhammer, but you just need to have knowledge on evangelion.

I'm on the first chapter, and it seems okay, but, well, something tells me it might mean a little more if I knew who 'Shinji' was...?

An Unusual Mission (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/30117/1/An_Unusual_Mission), by the amazing Adrian Tullberg. JLA fanfic, sorta. More humor than anything else - and like 99% of what Tullberg writes, it's freaking awesome.

As for Shinji and WH40K, I'm...ambivalent about it. I've read about halfway through, and it had a lot of great stuff in it, but it feels at times like Shinji is being turned into a Marye-Sue for the glory of WH40K (and like Gendo's being downgraded to an idiot cardboard villain)...

On the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (uesp.net), you can find much lore through the hundreds of "books" (really short stories) that are found in the games, and thus on the wiki. "A Dance in the Fire" is quite excellent.

Another one: Sailor Nothing (http://www.pixelscapes.com/sailornothing/). Not really a Sailor Moon fanfic so much as unsubtly inspired by it...It basically does to the magical girls genre what Neon Genesis Evangelion did to the mecha genre (except without the confusing ending). Great original fiction.

Good but there is more out there. Don't stop.
