Check out the website for the movie, "Bolt." I swear that is Hampstard!

I've seen several ads for Bolt and I've not yet seen anything that resembles the level of artistry and sophistication of writing that goes into any given Hampstard comic.

This is true, but that digital hampster looks alot like Hampstard. I almost choked on my popcorn when I saw the trailer. It was like Hampstard on super happy pills. Kind of disquieting...disturbing, if you will.

Oh, that's hilarious. I'm sure the writer is just LOVING the comparison. Hamstard it is  LOL

Huh.

It seems that Hamstard got bored while Parson was in a strange fantasy world.

Huh. That's Disney, but it doesn't look anywhere near Pixar's usual standards.

I really hope they aren't doing to Pixar what they did to their once-legendary cel animation department. :smallyuk:

Disney CG movies != Pixar. Disney's in house animation studio is responisble for Chicken Little and Bolt, Pixar didn't touch either one.

Yeah, so! It does look like Hamstard, which begs the question: do undercover Disney people surf these forums?

I'm sorry, having seen the previews for Bolt, I would have to say that the hamster in the ball has almost no similarities to Hamstard.

Point 1: Hamstard is probably the most cynical creature known to mankind. The hamster in the ball is probably one of the least cynical creatures known to man.

Point 2: Hamstard has never, save for one single comic, moved. That move was simply to go from full frontal to profile view.

Point 3: Hamstard does not own, use, or would even remotely consider using a ball as a method of transportation.

Yes, the one in the movie is rediculously overweight, just like Hamstard, but there the similarities cease.

We have seen him lay down as well.
And disappear!

I dunno, Disney's films have really tanked since they split from Pixar, but Bolt actually looks pretty funny.

The hamster... might drag down the movie. It's a hilarious concept, but the "jokes" he was telling in the preview... yuck.
