Hmm maybe make the sword a bit thinner... and a blue tie... the lightsaber hilt is kinda dorky too... I also forgot to mention that the blade is straight... it's not a V ish blade...The idea came from a sword that actually was concealed inside a walking stick.

Howdy, artists! I'm relatively new here...it took me...oh, a year or so of OotS to realize that there were, um...forums attached. Ever since I've been here, however, I've been seeing these avatars...and I've been constantly amazed. Artists you meet on the internet are crazy-incredible. I wish I had some of your "1337 skillz." Or talent. Or whatever "craft" feat it is that allows you to make things like this.

But anyway...I'd like to request an avatar, I 'spose. Might be a little bit of a challenge, or it might be cake. I never can tell when it comes to art. It's for a bit of a unique character...but anyone who feels like it, please give it a go. I'll try to be as detailed as I can be without limiting your creativity.

The Dramatic Request:

A lizardfolk female rogue. A character I'm running in a campaign right now that I've become very partial to, and I'm curious to see if someone can capture her in avatar-form.

I originally started her concept looking at the SRD example of a lizardfolk, but they looked too brutish...so she's a rather...lither...version of one of those guys. Think...more salamander than komodo dragon, but still very reptilian.

Clearly, she's hairless, being a lizard...and she's got a piercing set of predatory eyes, nice orange glowey effect going on, but nothing too extreme...preferably with a slit pupil visible. Typically seen in a dark (black? Grey? Mottled?) cloak, traces of mithril chain visible around the neck. Longbow on the back, mace at her belt or in her hands, and maybe a little darkwood shield if she's going around armed. (Artist's decision.)

As for her skin, the whole point of her character is based on her rejection from a lizardfolk tribe because of her strange, lithe physique (as evidently most lizardfolk are brutish) and her dark coloration. (Black and grey, very dark around the eyes, gray patterning on the head and hands.)

As for posture...let's say a rougish crouch, perhaps looking back over her shoulder as though she's heard a sound...?

And as a superfluous detail, if her hands are visible, for whatever reason lizardfolk have claws...so some nice little talons would be neat.

Well, sorry for the long post...but this just seems to take so much talent that I thought I'd give you as much of my mental picture to work with as I could. Any attempt at all is appreciated, and take whatever license you want or need. All of the above are merely guidelines.

Elysia: She's a small elf rogue, blonde with amber eyes, usually clad in tight fitting green or dark clothes, with no skin shoving except from her face and hands. She carries a dagger or a bow.

Aylana: Female half elf fighter, with long dark hair, blue eyes, chain shirt, pants and a longsword.

Viendah: Female elven ranger, with red hair, brown eyes, longbow and longsword, clad in brown and green leather (pants and tunic).

Shariel: Female winged half elf royal rogue, her wings are white and spans twice her height, she could be wearing a noble's dress. Blonde hair, violet eyes.

Mina: Female air genasi fighter, long black hair, ice blue eyes, caramel skin, favors blue clothes, scimitar. There's a light breeze flowing around her at all times.

I'm basically looking for someone to do my town charakter Vostrey.

[Stats and Description]
Name Vostrey "Grin" Bernhouse
Race Demihuman (Half Devil)
Class Barbarian lvl 2 Rogue, LvL 4
Alignment True neutral with rarely shown but definate good tendancies
Age Appears to be 17 tops, though strange facial musculature makes it hard to tell.
Height Roughly 1.7 meters
Weight 70 kg
Hair No hair, at all, anywhere
Eyes Greenish grey, though burns with tones of red once in rage
Bodily appearence Beige skin, a number of small horns adorn his otherwise clean head. Big ugly grin, teeth somewhat sharpend.
Weapons Sharp shortsword with oddly shaped blade, has holes for poison. Also carries some poisons.

[Backstory]
If you ask him to tell you his story, he'd probably just say "I'm noone". But the local barkeeps usually knows who he is. He's that meanlooking bastard who gets into trouble whenever he hits the bottle. His father was human and his mother a devil, some sort of seducive she-devil he supposes, but he wouldn't know.
His father slew the devil as she showed him thier son, and he true nature, though his father didn't have the heart to do the same to him (or for him if you catch him on a low). So instead he left him for dead, just a few weeks old, with nothing but a shortsword. He was "cared for" by the village butcher who kept him in a cellar. The weekly "Freakshow" was the only time he got to see anything but the damp walls of the cellar. Of course, as it is with half-devils one day his claws got to long for his "caretakers" good and he slit the butchers throat with his bare hands.
His last name is the butcher, and Vostrey, is just what it says on the sword.
Since then he's been living day by day, making money from petty thievery or random work and usually spending it all on booze the same evening.

[Common Knowledge]
- Gets mean while drunk
- Otherwise helpful and kind
- Freely shares with the poor, what little he has
- "Tolerated" by the barkeep merly on pity.
- Generally despised by the upper classes.

[Notes]
The sword is infact enchanted, with what and why, he does not know.

[Descriptive Text]
Wears a grey shirt and black pants, and usually a brown poncho. Shoes are broken, the careful observer can see that his toenails resemble claws far more than they should.
Wears a big beige scarf to cover his mouth and a hat to hide his horns. Its wide and sloping, badly worn with many holes.
Nails are very thick, but carefully filed down.
Usually very polite and calm, almost melancholicly so, but tries to look happy to the very few that actually cares, just to not bother them.

Race: Human with a major demonic bloodline

Class: Paladin of Slaughter

Pose: I was thinking something with him holding his helm in one hand and resting the sword against the ground with the other. I'm open to anything though, as long as it looks cool.


I'm going to throw in the flavor of what I have on his character sheet just to get the creative juices flowing some more for whomever would like to make him.


Elgretor is a monster, standing 6' 3" tall and 235 lbs of raw muscle ,he towers over most other men, and with the Aura of terror he holds about him he might as well be as big as a giant. His black hair lies in a mess about his shoulders, he has never really bothered to clean it. Peering out from deep set sockets are two red eyes that would cause any man or beast to run and hide. Elgretor wears plate armor so black it looks like it was cut from the starless night sky and a deep red velvet cape falls about his shoulders. His helm is shaped in the likeness of a demon, horns protruding from the top and tapering down into long vicious fangs. Almost as horrible as the man himself, is the sword he carries on his back. A black blade almost as long as a man hangs from his back, always thirsty for blood. Elgretor weilds this mammoth weapon with a deadly and efficent grace that has claimed countless lives. Along with his greatsword is his sickle that rests on his hip. Elgretor never really uses this except in threatening or torturing his enemies. It is there more to strike fear into others, than as a weapon. None person that has stood before Elgretor and his blade, Terror, has lived to tell the tale. He is the stuff of nightmares.

Hello, everybody!

So this rotting corpse with an addiction to caffeine comes back to the boards after a long hiatus........only to find out that he's been temporarily renamed after a dog! Not a real live dog (either a robotic wolf dog or a canine supervirus, depending on which series you grew up on; take your pick.), but still........

To celebrate this dubious occasion, methinks I want something to show for that transformation. This description may be a bit complex, so bear with me.

Gender: Male.
Race: Dog. A zombie dog. This canine's still undead.
Skin/Fur: Blackish fur falling out in clumps, greyish zombie skin below. Have what's left be a bit spiky.
Equipment: Rumpled and tattered white-collared shirt, undone striped yellow and blue tie, and navy trousers. And a coffee mug. Think a dog wearing clothing. If it's too complex, you can ignore the tie.
Special: Sitting on his rear, coffee mug held by right "hand" (or paw), with a surprised expression on his face. :smalleek: Maybe have his tongue stick out a little.:smalltongue: A three-quarter view is preferred.

If anyone wants some ideas, my current avatar should help in the clothing department. Maybe Chris the Pontifex would come back to make improvements on his work, but it's open to anyone.

What ever you do will be fine and much it can be much simpler than that and will be fine. But if you can make them a color that stands out like a bright green or purple that would be good.
As for the robe a basic brown style robe would be fine, if you can add somthing nature is to it that would be good. I can't find the picture I was thinking of and it would be hard to discribe.

I have an Order of the Stick Avatar Request, but not for me. I have a good friend who loves Order of the Stick and just had a really terrible week with a death in his family.

He's not on these forums but I think he would adore an order of the stick avatar of himself that he could use on other forums. Would anyone be willing to do this one?

Hey everyone!

I have a request for Simius, Ceika, or Gengy:

-Changling, Male, No hair
-Dark brown/dark gray clothes (2 belt pouches if possible)
-Dagger in belt
-Dark brown cloak w/ gold trim at bottom
-Brownish or reddish symbiot wings coming out of back (ref for texture/wing style) (http://www.miniaturespace.net/images/Heresy%20Demon/ND%20Greens/Nether%20Demon%20Front.jpg)

Pose- I was thinking facing front, feet spread apart, with his arms straight down with hands into fists. Wings would be outstreched as much as possible (as much as will fit anyway) and the facial expression would be evil (the wings were a gift from a daelkyr, and they are starting to corrupt him).

I really appreciate any help :smallsmile:

I am not sure exactly whats up with the eyes/mouth on your current avatar and the head on this one is smaller, so its a little harder to detail the mouth/eyes so I'm displaying this guy with a normal face first...

If you want me to have another go at imitating your current face let me know.

The eyes and mouth are stitched shut. That's why there is a purple orb on his forehead. It's his "eye".

I all makes sense! excellent!
