did you try calling the company that made them? it's not unheard of for them to still have some around.

In my experience, Ebay not having something is far from unusual.

I would have suggested Ebay, myself, but if you've already tried Google, Ebay, and Craigslist, but found nothing, then it may be possible that any remaining shafts are in Area 51...
