You may also have characters from OotS cosplay (dress up) as nintendo characters.

And of course, there is going to be a First through Third place of the following:

And don't forget the Wukei's Choice Award to the avatarist's creation that most appeals to your host.

Every entry must include a bolded introduction as to what category you are trying to enter in.
Also mention who you've done, and from what game.

That aside, Thanks for the link. I'll paruse the selection and come up with something. I'll probably pick something, that while it looks neat, no one has heard of.

EDIT: To avoid further confusion...I guess what I am saying is that console gaming isn't my thing and I feel I have out grown it. That being what it is I used your link and found something interesting, though I don't know the popularity of it so don't know if anyone will recognize the avies I make. :-/

Not to be argumentative right back, but you're only a year or so older than me. I never stopped playing video games, as there's no such thing as too old for them. My first console was the Atari and I never looked back. Really wish I had any Avataristic talent at all. You'd totally be seeing something from the original Nintendo. Loved Top Gun, but I don't know how anyone could make an avatar from it.

Joe Pleiman created a song parody of the main Zelda theme. The song is commonly misattributed to System of a Down for various reasons.

Don't worry too much about it, many, many people make that mistake because some guy who shared it over kazaa or somesuch file sharing program labelled the song as by SoaD and that version was the one everyone downloaded everywhere so that's why people think SoaD made it.

It was actually made by a band called The Rabbit Joint (see here (http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00022/)) and it appears that the file sharing program in question was Napster.

UPDATE: This contest just closed last Saturday, so expect results probably next weekend (a week and a half from now). We have two other contests to get the results out for, but I think by next weekend, the backlog should be cleared and awards will be out on all pending contests.
