So the chart I have for determining INT/WIS/CHA is really unclear, does
"Mental ability scores
two at 12
one at 10"

mean INT12, wis12, cha10 etc.? 12 10 12, 10 12 12

If so how do these numbers then translate to ego? it says 1 ego point for each +1 of int/wis/cha, +1 from what base number?

Also how do you find the enhancement bonus for something like a Ring of Feather falling? Forgive my ignorance, Im making a generator and dont actually play 3.5

Yes, one of those three.

10: +0
12: +1
14: +2
16: +3
etc.

Two at 12, one at 10 translates to +1 +1 +0 = +2 to ego.

Enhancement bonus only refers to the actual enhancement bonus equivalent of the weapon or armor, e.g. a +3 longsword.

A ring of feather falling has no enhancement bonus.

In general bonuses from ability scores go like this:

6-7 = -2
8-9 = -1
10-11 = +0
12-13 = +1
14-15 = +2
etc.

So a 12 in INT would be a +1. What this means is that whenever you roll a check that's based on Intelligence, you add 1 to the roll's result.

A Ring of Feather Falling doesn't have an enhancement bonus. Enhancement Bonus, when referring to Intelligent Items, is talking about weapons or armor. A +1 Longsword has a +1 enhancement bonus. A +3 Heavy Shield has a +3 enhancement bonus.

EDIT: What the many-eyed dude said.

Thanks guys, big help

One last question,

The enhancement bonus does not apply to the +6 to +10, section of the items, correct?

No, but it is covered by this line:

Each +1 of bonus for special abilities

So it does not make a difference if it is a flaming +1 sword or a +2 sword.
