What was the Borg War?

I keep seeing references to it in people's sigs. What is it?

It was an elaborate April Fools' joke. Some of the titans and other regulars in the SMBG changed their avatars and demeanour to borgs and tried to take over the boards by assimilation. ;)

Soon some people started to create anti-borg groups like the HACKER WARRIORS, the resistance and the starship (I was a member (http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j179/Kotzgeist/th_Lt_Amiria.gif) of the starship). It went on for some days but then the mods stopped it, because groups whose only purpose is to oppose another group aren't allowed here.

There was no flaming or other bad things in the war, at least I didn't see any of it. It was all quite silly.

I was a HACKER WARRIOR and part of the Resistence, but actually didn't do anything :P

Yeah, it was silly. But fun while it lasted.

Meh. I was gone on my band trip the whole time, but I made El J tell me. Of course, he denied the whole thing happened at first, but I tied him to a chair and locked him in a room with my cousins and little sister, and he gave in after a few hours. :P It sounded like fun.
