View Full Version : Evolution (werewolf game)

Emperor Demonking
2008-09-16, 01:23 PM
A (small) werewolf game with hidden roles.

Each role is that of an animal. The twist is in this game is that you start off with a weak role and then each night you evolve into a more powerful role.

For example:
50% succes rate baner --> Careless baner ----> Baner -----> Baner whose targets are protected from nightkills for two nights.

Example PM

You are the Bear

Stage 1 (N1-N2): You can target a player and see if they have honey.
Stage 2 (N3-N4): You can target a player and give them honey.
Stage 3 (N5-N6): You can target a player and force them to eat honey.
Stage 4 (N7+): You can void every player.

You win when the werewolf group(s) are dead.

The Fourteen of you met on this cold and frosty morning, merely shadows of what you would grow up to be. Or at least what you could grow up to be if you're not lynched first.

Why are you lynching? Its because some animals are dragging the word "animal" through the mud. And we can't have that can we?

Especially when they kill the glorious bear, Emperor Demonking.

The animals were hungry, very hungry. That's when they saw Fin. He looked like a tastey meal. They stalked Fin, not letting him know he was being stalked. Then when Fin started to drink some water, he was launched upon and ate. The animals left the carcass there but then they saw Fin alive and well plus the carcass was still there.

Fin was lynched but lives still

The fluffy bunny rabbit ran away. First his mummy was killed by all those mean animals but now an animal was trying to kill him too. Fin gave a whimper and started to cry. This was not a good, night cycle not good at all. "Oh, woe is-"

Fin was night killed. He was pro-town.

You are the rabbit.

Stage 1 (N1-N2): You are immune from one lynch.
Stage 2 (N3-N4): You have a double vote.
Stage 3 (N5-N6): You have a double vote and are immune to one kill.
Stage 4 (N7+): You can't be killed (other than endgamed)

You win if the werewolf group(s) are dead.

Hmmmm, interesting take on this. Now that I have sped-read most of it, I feel sorta suspicious of Fullbladder, actually.

Suggesting that if the wolves didn't kill Fin, then we would lynch him is never good to say as (more often than not) it wastes a lynch and provides no information to the villagers. But with Fin's death, I think it could very well be a ploy to make him look like another confused villager...

Having spent the night looking for grubs, the baby kiwi returns to the nest for a nap. Before doing so he points his beak at EvilDMMk3

Fact: Fin was an innocent animal.

EvilDMMk3 is openly admitting the he looks guilty, because he was pointing at Fin yesterday. He then said that if he was a "wolf" he wouldn't have killed Fin, because doing so would make him look guilty. Ergo because he wouldn't do anything to make him look guilty, he can't be a wolf.

I'll take one more twist in the logic. It is obvious he is a clever wolf trying the tactic of accusing himself so that no-one will believe he is a wolf. He killed Fin precisely because he could then make this argument.

Because none of those things mean much in a game of deceit - especially in a game like this, where there is no precedent.

A track record of honesty means nothing. Play enough WW games, you'll get a wolf role. Will the first thing you do be to put your hand up and say 'I'm a wolf'? I doubt it.

All I can say is if you all think I am a wolf, be prepared to choke on a large slice of irony.

Truth is my track record is bad. I have been in two games before this, was a baddie in both. In the OotS game I took down two power roles when I was lynched. But wherewolf games are like dice, each game has no relation on later ones, just as a dice that has rolled 2 1s still has the same chance of a 1 now as it did when you first rolled it.

Dogs and wolves are sorta related. They say that a dog is just a tamed wolf. Maybe that is why Eaglewiz is in mourning. Or I guess he could've been mourning the worm but I can't see why. Eaglewiz barked a bark of sadness. Unfortunately his fellow wolves thought it was a bark of "Eat me."

Eaglewiz was lynched. He was a good guy.

You are the Dog.

Stage 1 (N1-N2): You can target a player at night. You will be told if they used a night action.
Stage 2 (N3-N4): You are told if any player targets you. You are also told the names of the targeter.
Stage 3 (N5-N6): You can target a player at night and will be told if they acted.

Sadly that day won't come because the chicken was killed.

That line was awesome. :smallcool:

So there are more than one group of wolves :smalleek:. Hmm. Probably should have expected that in a demonking game.

Kinda knowing EDK, I suspect FF Fanboy, because he's new to this.

Catseye, if he's still alive.

I don't like any of those, tbh...

With my no evidence, I'll point at PirateMonk, as I don't want to push an innocent lynch without any evidence.

Piratemonk... sounds good to me.

I'm inactive sometimes, so sue me.

Piratemonk, to get the bandwagon off my back!

The eagle chased after the kiwi. The eagle swooped and looped and zooped but he couldn't catch the kiwi. Piratemonk had one desperate dive to catch it but fell to the floor with a broken skull. Then the animals ate him.

Piratemonk was lynched.
You are the Eagle.

Each night you must choose a player, depending on the night you will get the information.

Stage 1 (N1-N2): You are told if your target is an Investigative role, Protective role or a different role.
Stage 2 (N3-N4): You are told your targets animal name.
Stage 3 (N5-N6): You are told the players animal name and basic role name. (Seer, baner ect)
Stage 4 (N7+): You get a full amount of information about the players power.

You win if the werewolf group(s) are dead.

Perhaps that means the wolves aren't actively watching the thread? *Looks at who is in the game still and hasn't voted*

I'll go with Dragonprime.

Want to keep this tied... Reinholdt, what is with the star on your avatar?

Emperor Demonking

It was a masacre out there. All the animals lied their dead, some call them the autolynched. Some call them the should've been killed earlier. Whastever they were called they were dead.

The fly and the leech settled on the mass of dead bodies and started to eat them. Getting powerful, very powerful. So powerful that they killed their own son and the last farm yard animal.

Griever and Vampiric won

Reinholdt

Interesting. Ties are handled differently here. *smacks Griever and Vampiric*

I was on your side!

Emperor Demonking
2008-10-04, 09:22 AM
It wasn't a tie.

They were the only group with 50%

Reinholdt
2008-10-04, 09:30 AM
I meant lynch ties, unless the auto's did everyone in... in which case, I guess I wasn't on Griever and Vampiric's side after all, despite being their son. Oh well..

Vampiric
2008-10-04, 09:39 AM
Woohoo!

I won a Werewolf game!

Pfft, you can't smack us, Reinholdt, you're dead :smalltongue:

Wait... son?

You are the Fleech. You are son of the fly and the leech. The main werewolf group. If they die you gain their special ability.

You win if you make up 50% of the town.
