Summoning Chaos

I'm new to homebrewing, so comments are much appreciated.

EDIT: The Summon Chao spell is now a second level Wizard/Sorcerer spell as well.


Summon Chao
Level: Rgr 1, Wis/Sor 2
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 full round
Range: Close (25 ft)
Effect: One summoned Chao
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

This spell summons a Chao from another plane to assist you in battle. The Chao follows your instructions to attack your opponents to the best of its ability. You can tell the Chao to not attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions. The summoned Chao acts normally on the last round of the spell and dissapears at the end of its turn.
Arcane Focus: A small emerald worth at least 200 gp.

AC 12; touch 12; flat-footed 10 (+2 Dex)

Full-Attack: Slam +1 melee (1d4, 19-20/x2), Bite -3 ranged (1d4+2, 19-20/x2)
Space 2.5 ft.; Reach 5 ft.
Special Attacks - None
Special Qualities - Darkvision out to 60 feet
Saves Fort +1 Ref +4 Will +2

Chaos can speak Common and Undercommon as well as understand them. Chaos usually weigh about six pounds.

Again, let me know what you think! These Chao stats are at v0.1, there's bound to be some problems with them.

Between the flight and the +4 Charisma, and decent Dex, they would make good enough Sorcerers that you probably want to put the LA to +1 or +2
