If you quote a post in which someone has used a naughty word, the actual word and not the replacement shows up in your message window while you are composing your reply.

For example, we'll pretend that "snugglebunnies" is censored to just "rabbits", we'll pretend that angle brackets are square brackets and we'll also pretend that I'm arguing about something with Tae Kwon Dan:

If Tae Kwon Dan were to write a post in which he said

"They are all a bunch of snugglebunnies"

It would appear as

"They are all a bunch of rabbits"

Until I decided to quote his post in an attempt to refute, at which point I would see

<quote>Originally posted by Tae Kwon Dan<time and date and format stuff>
They are all a bunch of snugglebunnies
</quote>

But it would appear in it's censored form again when my final post was displayed, so it would look something like this:

"

originally posted by Tae Kwon Dan
They are all a bunch of rabbits

They are not! They are quite clearly capybaras as it states on page XX.
"

Dunno if you care, but I thought I should point that out.

Interesting, perhaps I'll file a complaint over on the yaBB website.

Personally, I think you owe TKD an apology for insinuating he would use that kind of language.

*Ponders admitting that he has used the term snugglebunny*

*realizes he just did :o*

Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference to "the 14 letter S word" there.

self-righteous <"-" isn't a letter, I know>
sacreligiously
sequentiality
scandalousness

Man, its really hard to think of 14 letter words that start with "s" without a dictionary to flip through.
13 letter words are much easier.
