By popular demand, from MSN at least, it shall be referred to as "Coloured" not "Colored". :smalltongue:
OK, so coloured pencils. So far I haven't used them for much other than elementary school homework, but apparently these little tools hold a lot more potential than I expected, judging by CPSA's (http://www.cpsa.org/) contests. My drawing teacher showed us this and we were pretty amazed.
Of course, that means we now start learning the techniques, so here's the deal: I started this thread mostly because I'd like to get ideas, tips, tricks, or simply to see if anyone out there likes colourde pencil drawing or is used to it in any way. Of course, this is like "The Coloured Pencil Drawing Thread", so I'd love it if other people showed off their drawings as well.
Here's what I'm showing so far.
The iPod

Not very good, and not entirely mine. The teacher stepped in to show me how to do some of it and ended up finishing the drawing.
iPod, earlier version

Meh... this was the first drawing, so it's mostly a practice with shading and stuff.
The Chile!

It's a Jalapeņo, I believe. Those are mah favourites. :smalltongue:
This is the only one I've made that I consider to be half-decent, but I'm pretty sure I can work better at it.
So thoughts or critique anyone?
