Drat......How has everything else been? Teardrop wants a sacrifice in order to come back, so his return probably isn't a good thing. (Didn't Draken say something about Sythis' soul being released a couple of days back? I'll try to find the post soon.)

Oh no, that's impossible. The sword disappeared when I wasn't paying attention. Even if I wasn't paying attention, Nomlas couldn't get the sword. I noted that I could never compel myself to do anything more than sheath the rapier while it was in my possession.

Besides, by my estimation, the sword didn't take Serendes's soul with it, so it probably left it inside a stone of some sort. I imagine it'd be a sapphire, judging by the sword itself.

Rand is standing on top of much flaming rubble, obviously the building has collapsed, or exploded. Surrounding the area are barricades, blue and white, and civilians (primarily human, in early twenty-first century attire) are desperately trying to push their way past law enforcement officials. Helicopters swerve and dive above, cameras flashing at the sight of the destruction below.

He will then disperse his form into a swarm of purple particles. After which, they will flow through the rubble and look for Cressida's corpse underneath everything.

Cressida's corpse in under there. The most likely cause of death would be burning, from the looks of things, someone went to the trouble to heating the life out of her, before smushing the building onto her. She's curled up with some other bodies, seemingly office workers from their clothing.

I'm not sure why Alex had to shot Nomlas then to be completely honest. Admittedly, I'm not really sure what the problem with shooying him was all things considered. (As Tempest said, Nomlas didn;t have to have the shoulder injury, and it made sense to try to take advantage of it after Alex shot him.)

(Considering how we need information on the Intergang to stop them hurting much larger numbers of people, I tend to see Nomlas' rights as being irrelevant considering how it was his own fault it happened. Besides, considering how dangerous Nomlas is, I'd have thought that being reluctant to get close enough to heal him would be a bad move anyway.
