the yeoman is based upon the rogue and ranger, it looks somewhat over powered if you ask me.

Or formatting. That would help alot

Well... yes, it is pretty powered, that is for sure...

From what I can see the only concession were the Rogue skill stuff and a smaller sneak attack with no spells from ranger...

Its tough to say that the trade off is fair... but considering the ranger and the rogue are very opportunistic fighters, this balances them more toward the power level that Wiz and Cleric can reach...

Formatted!

Anyways, here are some thoughts:

Given that the Yeoman was a type of peasant, you could exchange some of the powers here (possibly) for powers of the common people (like a version of Wild Empathy,"Poor People Empathy")
If one were to make this class less obviously a rogue/ranger mix and keep the title Yeoman, it would slide incredibly fast toward becoming a poor-man's Scout (starting with sneak attack becoming a skirmish bonus). If you wanted to keep more of a ranger/rogue mix, you could make fluff and change crunch to make something like a"Vampire Hunter", where it's limited to stalking one favored enemy (Humanoid, Outsider, or Undead) really well, but with enough bonuses to function reasonably in other situations.

You'll probably have to choose one route or the other, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Explaing the Yeoman as a peasant clarifies things a little better. I think still think that you should add in some more fluff, for I'm are not sure exactly what niche this class fills.

I'm just mad that this doesn't allow me to stat up Yeoman Rand from Star Trek: the Original Series. I had a scenario planned for her & Cleric Chapel. :smallwink:
